With Brogue in the background looking absolutely stunned that he's finally signed!

Pompey manager John Mousinho has confirmed no progress with this....thought it was a done deal?

I think it's fair to say that Couhig is trying to weed out any leaks within his organisation and Brogue's source is in danger.

That's what I was also thinking - maybe they were leaking false rumours to different people to find out who was the leak ...

Remember it well that we had a look at him 15 years ago when he was at Swindon. Exciting times!

Will that be alongside the announcements of Bowler and Cole?

Portsmouth have no clue what’s going on with Ritchie either, only that they won’t stand in his way and will be happy to cancel his current contract to aid his departure. So it’s all with Reading to agree personal terms.

Abdoulaye Kamara and Tom McIntyre are two others in the same boat as Ritchie at Pompey.

If T Mac is holding it, presumably the paddle snapped in his hands.

More likely his fingers snapped and he dropped it on his foot and broke a metatarsal.

He's apparently wanting to see if he gets any offers from the Championship before committing to drop down a level, which is fair enough and shows confidence in his ability.

My view, if this is going to happen it will be right at the end of August.
