Just seen this in the Coppell article from yesterday about tempting players to the Mad in January:

“I think we do need to supplement the team this January, but if we can’t then we will just keep going as we have.â€

No they have to be available first. We can locate a player that we want, and bid a stupid amount but if his current club refuse to sell there's not much you can do about it.

Rest of it is a nothing comment, he's basically said "we know we need some more players, we'll try to get them but if we can't then we have to carry on with our current squad"

Already making excuses for when tight @rse Madejski won't pay the wages.

We will have to wait and see (if slinky is correct on this), but there could be a tendency to just consider the few outstanding goals he has scored and neglect to consider his overall attributes.

This move would more than likely signal the end of Shorey's time at Reading. I prefer Shorey as a player and would ideally like him to stay, but I doubt that is really an option and we have got to replace him.

Anyway, heres hoping Matty Taylor is a success at the club (if he does end up signing)

He was brilliant as Lib Dems Environmen Spokesman a few years back!
