Thatcher's trial at West Ham hasn't gone down so well with the locals - an online petition is calling for his immediate release...

I'm still waiting to see if the guy on 606 is right and we're getting this Gibbs from Arsenal in.

Before Shorey left Coppell claimed he had some big name replacements lined up, but didn't want to waste any money until the transfer went through.

Now Shorey has gone, it will be interesting if he yet again starts moving the goal posts.

For christ sake man cheer up.

Has Coppell actually said "big name replacements" as that is a very un-Coppell like thing to say.

Only thing I've seen is that he has targets and hopes to have one in place by the weekend.

Coppell said "we do have potential targets" nothing about big name replacements, thats going back a couple of weeks on the OS.

Coppell said he was going to spend a lot of money last January

Coppell said we needed a right midfielder when Little went

I have no confidence in the club with regards to signing players and find it hard to believe will sign anyone. I just hope I am proved wrong.

'greed. And if we do end up signing a new left back then don't expect large amounts of cash to be splashed out because it won't happen.

Remember the transfer window is open until the end of August so maybe he is seeing how Kebe does at right wing before splashing out - if in a few weeks he's not seen something he likes then i can see us buying a new winger then!

At the age of 18 he may well prefer first team football at a Championship club.

Don't know much about him, but seems pretty highly rated by everyone I've spoken to, so would be a great signing imo.

I'll ask my mate who works at the Leicester Mercury to see if they've got anything concrete.
