It's pretty rare for a footballer to live in the same town as they play in isn't it? Lot of the McDermott era players lived in Ascot, no idea if that's still the current fave. Only players who I know to have lived in the town centre was Yakou in the nice apartments behind the Roseate Hotel and Felipe Araruna in Verto, next door to BoBs.

think ive seen reports that his kids were settled in schools in wycombe which was one of the reasons he came to us cos he didnt have to move house. so i'm guessing he lives over that way. If thats the case then that makes the commute to luton even shorter at well under an hour

Don't know if he still lives there, but I saw him when I was out for a walk during lockdown. He was on the phone, pushing a buggy, and he had hair, so I only noticed it was him as he was going past me.

Neil Webb lived in Tilehurst somewhere as he delivered my post. His ex lived in Honey End Lane...went to school with her.

Can confirm. In fact I am sitting on my mum’s balcony typing this, looking at Al Habsi’s place.
