Wow, didn't realise there was that much in it. For some reason he doesn't inspire me much. But I'm a fickle bugger until they're in blue and white.

Bottom line is he is better than USA, and as for waiting until the summer, think opportunities like this don't hang around. Think he'll be snapped out in Jan.

Ok USA has been good last couple of games but consistantly he has been poor this season

totally agree for 500k he would be a quality 1st choice keeper for at least 2 seasons

Not sure we could get him to come to us but think its about time USA had some decent competition

He's by no means shit.

He can have the odd rickett yes and it sounds like he might've lost a bit of focus over the last couple of seasons but he is still a very good keeper.

If he has the right attitude to prove himself all over again I think he'll make an excellent free transfer for someone.

I can't see that someone being Reading now that we're in the Championship and cutting our cloth and all that as he'll be too expensive for us.

He's failed at Sunderland and Villa - Sunderland went down and didn't want him and now Villa don't want him. He makes far too many errors and although he's a decent shot stopper on his day, he's poor at pretty much everything else as a keeper.

Certainly, if we're signing a keeper it should be a long-term replacement for Marcus, which I can't see Sorensen being. It's just another name everyone's heard of that would supposedly show ambition.

As it is, I don't think signing him would be worthwhile now. Hahnemann is more than good enough for the CCC, Federici deserves an opportunity afterwards to see if he could do a job consistently then if not, it would be worth getting another keeper. Had we stayed up then Sorensen would have been a decent signing to give Hahnemann serious competition.

Can't disagree with that. Turns out he has over three hundred starts over ten years with Sunderland and Villa. Not bad going.

Remind me how Denmark have done since Sorensen's been between the sticks? Their finest hour has been getting thrashed by England in the second round of the world cup where, funnily enough, Sorensen was at fault.
