The sort of striker we could well go and get, rather than talk of Harewood (doesn't want to drop a division, on more than double the 10k we pay our top players) and the Boyd's.

I'd take him, although I'm sure what he could offer if we went up. At this level, yes please.
A million quid?

For Tommy Smith?

You need to get your head seeing to.
lol agreed, nowhere near good enough.

Who would you suggest?

It's easy to rubbish players you don't think we should go for.

Who can we attract her on our wages and for around £1m tops, that will come here?!

Apart from another gamble, I don't see where a decent replacement for Doyle will come from, and he will need replacing, because we do not need to be left with Long and Mooney supporting N.Hunt. It'd f**k us.
Ross McCormack would be a much better signing.

HTH.
You are correct, but there is no chance we'll sign him. Especially with Cardiff's selling policy, we'd be lucky for them even to consider a bid of around £5mil, probably more like £7mil would be needed, considering they are holding out for £8mil with Ledley. Besides if McCormack does leave it'll be to someone in the Prem, not us.

Aye like the huge amounts of money Koumas and Jerome cost, and to some extent Ramsey.

Rumours in Watford that he didn't play because he'll be signing for us next week.

Was thinking that and it is being reported quite a bit on our sites but then other players have been linked with a move and not gone.

I like Tommy Smith but he's hardly a premiership quality player.

We're not in the Premiership.

He's a very good player at this level, and would be ideal off the bench IF we go back up. Would be a decent addition to the squad!

Noel Hunt would be a better option off the bench though.

Dont see the point in signing this clown if we already have 4 strikers!! We need to sign players post promotion who can actually do a job in the prem. Get rid of long and lita, and bring in someone of real quality

He is better as a winger than out and out forward...

He's better staying where he is and not darkening our door.
