Can't see us getting Nugent, but he was awesome before he went to Pompey

Heard he's a bad trainer or some attitude problem?

But why do we only compare him to Doyle?

Wouldn't Nugent-Doyle work with Noel as sub? (just one example)

The argument is Doyle and Nugent are too similar to play together well. Generally it is a good idea to have two players who have different strengths and weaknesses playing together to complement each other. None of our strikers are exactly alike, but most aren't especially different to each other either.

Why would Nugent want to come here?

if he were to want to drop to the Championship, Preston is his most likely destination, as thats where Pompey got him from.

This rumour gets a slm to anorexic rating.
