The things is, Ian, your expectations at the beginning of the season and at the end are very different. At the beginning of last season, fourth would have been very much acceptable; by the time it happened it was pretty much a failure.

It was a failure. But that doesn't mean at the same time the season wasn't a success. I'm disappointed we didn't do as wel as we could and should have done given the context of the season. But I'm more than happy with finishing 4th when looking at the bigger picture and moving on as it met my expectations.
