Are you sure as to the reason? Sky say they are off to see a player to get him to sign for Pompey. If the player agrees could this be the catalyst to get the Taylor move on?

To be honest i don't have a clue, i was just posting what i says on the website. My pompey mate agrees with you about signing player, so i doubt my rumour is true now. This can only be a good thing a the moment so we can get taylor.

Before the Newcastle speculation, Harry said it would not sell players until he had bought a few in. It seems we will have to wait for Portsmouth to deal in the transfer market first, then hope they do this in sufficent time ti allow us to move this deal forward.

It may well be the case that we have to wait until the summer to progress this one further.

i've a feeling Harry's deal with Pompey to stay would have included bigger funds to add to the squad which can only help this deal go through (if players want to go to Pompey that is!)

4 players on African duty and still not a squad place for Taylor today, he must either be on his way, or he really is out of favour.

More importantly no Sean Davies.

A player who would significantly improve our 1st 11.

Much more so than Taylor.

We need Sean Davies, he can't get on the bench even with 4 Pompey players at the ACN.

Go fcukin get him. Or is this gonna be another Gary O'Neill??

It won't make a difference any more, unless we can get about ten of him.

Portsomouth fans say he is joining Sunderland today for £4.1m and that is why he was left out of the squad yesterday.

He wasn't fit as confirmed by Redknapp in his interview.

Have Portsmouth signed a replacement yet?
