Slinky wrote:***look at me, look at me*** I know for a fact (i have seen with my own eyes a text message from him) that there have 'been discussions' between the clubs and player and that we're one of a few clubs after him, but in his word "we'll see what happens' - granted this was what he said 2 weeks ago. We'd obviously suit him as we're close to his home (Aylesbury).

Please ignore my post from a few months back when I said that he wouldn't come to us because we're Oxford's rivals - this opinion has obviously been changed by the fact that the likes of Villa, Spurs etc are no longer after him and he 'dislikes' Redknapp even more than before!
LOL - look at Slinky

Was hoping we would get him, somebody I feel could come straight into out starting 11 and improve it.

Expect a renewed bid for Hunt from Sunderland now then.

Bitterly disappointing, so as another team near us adds a proven quality player to their ranks, we are trying to get someone from the French 2nd division. Dear me.

But we've not just lost our leading goalscorer.

Two problems if Taylor had signed for us,
1. He is English and everyone would be able to spell his name .

2. He is an experienced, up to speed etc..... player, and the club would have found it difficult to find a reason why we arnt going to play him until he has had time to settle in !
