I'd keep Lita to be honest and send out Long on loan.

even if we had a good offer, remember he is on a free in the summer, and SC has shown he is not in his plans.

I agree but it will never happen, lita wont want to sit on bench and we will try command a fee for him

To be honest,Lita looks more of a danger when playing than Long does.

I'd be interested to see their goals to games ratios for us for the last 18 months.
I suspect Long has as least a good if not better one. Lita is a better player, but is not a good fit and has done nothing for us for well over a season.
He would be excellent in the team we have at the moment if he got his head right, playing as we are, but the bridges are burnt IMO.

Lita's Premier League record:
32(15) - 8
Not exactly fantastic is it? One good run where he got 6 between Boxing day and 3rd Feb does not make him proven.

In a newly promted side that we were, it was impressive form.

He stepped up when Doyle was injured but couldn't replicate that form when he had to fight for his place. For me that demonstrates a questionable attitude.

Not sure if this has been said, but surely Norwich would only offer us money if it looked like somebody else was going to buy him and they really wanted to keep him? If I were them I'd look to get him on loan again in January and then nick him free in the summer. Not that it's good for us, but it's what I'd do.

No more than a rumour, but could be QPR will make a cheeky cash bid in Jan, also Palace could find the cash as well. cant see Lita messing around with Warnock too much, sounds ideal move to me.

West Bromwich Albion Football Club are pondering a January swoop for Leroy Lita.
The striker is currently on loan at Norwich City, yet Reading are likely to take him back in the New Year as they look to sell him in order to raise some funds.
Tony Mowbray is desperately seeking more firepower following the long-term injury to Ishmael Miller, and reports suggest he will table an offer of £3million for Lita.
“We will wait and see,” said the Baggies boss of the transfer window.
