Sad? Lol... Well not so much the fighting. In fact that particularly unpleasant incident in Leeds City Centre was actually started by the Asian group of lads who were goading Woodgate, Bowyer et al. Didn't really deserve to be kicked to the ground and Woodgate's mate bite the Asian Lad's cheek off.. (very strange that.. almost homoerotic, but I digress). Also Bowyer wasn't actually involved in the fight.. he sneaked off when he realised it was getting out of hand..

Nah, he's racist because of the things he said outside the club prior to the fight that were most certainly racist (which can't easily be written here, but I'm sure you get my drift) and also a certain incident when he was a youth player (Charlton?) when he was involved in smashing up a McDonalds - he was violent that time but the transcript and CCTV footage was certainly illuminating regarding his views on those from an Ethnic minorities.

I think it could be said without risk of libel or slander, that he is a racist thug.

You say he was goaded, and because he reacted he's therefor a racist? That dosn't make sence.

If you get goaded into a fight, regardless of the ethnicity of the origin, its not because of the colour of their skin he's got upset - it's because they are goading him!! I see pleny of white people fighting white people - im pretty sure thats not based on the colour of their skin.

More often than not, "racist" language is used in hot or heated situations, simply because the situation presented itself - if the gentlemen happened to be rather portly, he would of said "oi fattie" rather than something racist... or shortie, lankey, beanpole, ginge etc etc

And as previously posted in other comments, but largely overlooked...

Sorry, let me get something straight, the Asian group did not start on them. They just took the piss. The millionaire footballers and the thug friends turned violent. Personally, I've never started a fight irrelevant of what provocation and have only ever been involved in violence in self defence. But then I'm not thick. Either way, the language used was racist. His natural response to having the piss taken out of him was to use racist language. Again, I've never even considered it, because I am not racist.

He was found innocent as a) he wasn't involved in the fight, he's not that stupid thankfully and b) Woodgate's cheek biting mate took the fall for it all. Woodgate was guilty but got away with it. It was and still is a total disgrace. Incidentally my knowledge of the events that night comes directly from eye witnesses. Some Asian, some white. All agree that the Asian lads started it, but also the response by millionaires was disproportinate, racist and by the end of it, exceedingly violent.

And he hasn't changed. The last game I saw him play in (which was THE last game he played in, against Preston) he got sent off. It was another one of those 'pull the player down and then lean on him with my elbow as I'm getting up, then headbutt him when he starts to moan about it' challenges that are his trademark. Shithead, and I would actually boo the fcuker if he played for us. I don't care if he could score 40 goals a season, no place for him in football, and certainly not at MY club.

Not sure I'd go that far, but thats because I'm more likely to just sit and grump in my seat than actually boo a player.
