Doesn't it give you a warm feeling to hear Bowyer described as 'thick' by some of the illiterati on HNA.

No idea if he's thick. He is however a racist and a grade 'A' cvnt. I'd personally rather spent my afternoons elsewhere than watching him despoil the blue and white hoops!

It's a fair bet given how articulate most footballers seem to be.

Not sure that being a footballer makes you thick. In the same vain I'm almost certain that being a racist doesn't make it more likely that you'd be thick (just an ignorant tw@t with no place in society, does this opinion make me a hypocrite?). Though I think you may be right in that we can conclude a mixture of the two would make it far more likely.

Of course being a footballer doesn't make you thick. However, it certainly seems a significant proportion of footballers are rather dim.

Thank goodness for that. He'll be sent off for a particularly nasty challenge this season, and as it's in the Premier League it will be well seen and talked about and he'll be out of football for good before the seasons out.
