Clubs put unrealistic 'feelers' like this out all the time, just in case something can come of it, it's not exactly news. I know Bristol City have enquired about Billy Sharp. He wont be going there this season though...
I think that may deserve a woosh.
Or even a whoosh...

I've been up to the stadium today to chat with Nicky Hammond, just ironing out some details in the contract and I will hopefully finalise the deal to be announced early next week. I can't wait to pull on the blue and white hoops again - feels like home.
This deal has been a long time coming, I was legally obliged to wait for Simon Church's move to be finalised, as I currently have a restraining order on him after he tried to bum me in Nandos.
Regards,
Gylfi.
This is increasingly looking very promising indeed. Relaxing bumcave as advised.

Double-bluff, i reckon!

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has ruled out selling Jermain Defoe and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The futures of Defoe and Sigurdsson have been the subject of speculation with Spurs in the market for striking reinforcements.
Defoe has been linked with a host of clubs, including West Brom and Queens Park Rangers, while Sigurdsson struggled to hold down a regular place in the side last season.
However, Villas-Boas insists that he has no plans to offload the duo and that they are still in his long-term thoughts.
"They are players we count on 100 per cent," Villas-Boas is quoted as saying in the Daily Express. "Sigurdsson is completely in our plans.
"Defoe is a hero for Tottenham and has been doing well. He faces competition which he has always faced during his career."

I know its dreaming but if we could get Siggy and defoe, we would certainly be top 2.
the only fear is QPR will come in for either or both and it will further strengthen them!

I've seen Jimmeh Nayuuul perform that live. Along with Crocodile Shoes. To my eternal shame.
Now I'm having doubts about whether its him or not. Fook that would be embarassing, not only outing myself like that, but for no reason with the added humiliation of getting the wrong artist.

You're correct Ian, and you should never be ashamed of Jimmy Nail.

You should be ashamed about nearly everything else in your life however.

... though he's staying in the first team
Scott Parker is looking extremely surplus, let's play him behind the striker.
