You're assuming that getting them off the wage bill would allow us to sign more players though.....John Smith wrote:YesHound wrote:Could really do with losing Moore from the wage bill couldnt we?

Shave those three off and that's about £3.75m off the wage bill on top of about another £2.5m from Aluko and Baldock.Elm Park Kid wrote:You're assuming that getting them off the wage bill would allow us to sign more players though.....John Smith wrote:YesHound wrote:Could really do with losing Moore from the wage bill couldnt we?

Nothing new there, 20 years ago the old fogies on the bus were saying similar nonsense. Either owners are running club into the ground by stealing all the money, or by being tight, or by overspending blah blahhughsies no.1 wrote:Got to love 'the kids' (clowns) on Twitter who are now turning on the owners...
Every year beg and plead for transfers, all got mega excited a few years back when the likes of Puscas et al were signed and kept begging for more.
Now, turned on the owner saying they were being reckless with those signings and want him out. The future of our fanbase![]()
Originates from Alan Nixon during a discussion on Derby:Sounds like #readingfc can now sign players which is a huge bonus. Hopefully Royals can get some deals tied up pretty quickly - not long until the season starts.
AN: Derby County. Now selecting the free agents they want to sign. Efl approval but with strings as usual …
Q: similar situation for Reading?
AN: Reading can sign more players and at higher pay level
"Good" news - clearly we have no idea what that higher pay level is or what Derby's level is, or if we can pay a fee or if we are still limited to loans and frees.morganb wrote:Courtney says:

Not sure. Relegation to League 1 would be a disaster for our finances and any cost savings must be considered against this risk.John Smith wrote:YesHound wrote:Could really do with losing Moore from the wage bill couldnt we?

sounds like Darren who works in the club shop - decent lad.blythspartan wrote:Been to B&Q near the mad stad (I know wrong name) and decided to walk up to the stadium. Got a thumbs up from a young fella with short very dark hair and tattoos covering both arms. He was on his way to a car parked where I’d expect the players to park. Not sure, who he was but I didn’t recognise him as a current member of the squad.
Why would we need a CB, it is arguably the one outfield position we don't need to strengthen?paultheroyal wrote:Hope it all gets sorted soon and then we can pounce on Bolaise who would be quality and as we are in dire need get in Hoilet. Then raid the Premier Loan market for a left back and centre back.
Yeah - good point - change that to creative midfielder.Hendo wrote:Why would we need a CB, it is arguably the one outfield position we don't need to strengthen?paultheroyal wrote:Hope it all gets sorted soon and then we can pounce on Bolaise who would be quality and as we are in dire need get in Hoilet.
