Whether we stayed up or not it was inevitable some players would move on, most of our first team have already been atthe club longer than your average player stays put.

But of course any stick is useful for the one eyed man to beat Coppell with !
Does Royalee only have one eye?

We can sell Hunt and Harper as we don't need either of them and use the money to bring in players we need. Of course that would be the intelligent thing to do though, meaning Coppell won't do it.
Everytime you post something you seem to confirm more and more that you don't really understand how the business of transfers actually works.

Middlesbrough will pay £4 million for Harper, leaving us with just over £2 million. Sunderland will pay £3-4 million for Hunt in all likeliness, leaving us with another £2.5 million or so to spend. £4.5 million is ample money to go out and buy a half decent defensive midfielder and a right winger in the Championship and we may even have change for a left winger if Convey's injured.

Even if the logic was correct (and it doesn;t match what you said prevoioulsy) the sums don;t add up !
You seem to lose 1.5 million of the Hunt money in the middle....

I guess he means because Coppell won't get all the money we make from transfers. Some will just go back into the clubs coffers/debt repayments.

But the club value those players at more than that and I don't blame them. We would struggle to replace them for players as good or better for that money. And that is the reason they haven't been sold yet.

I was assuming Wycombe Royal would point out that we still have to pay wages, so I thought I'd budget for that as well.

How does it not match what I said previously? I've said all along that I want rid of Hunt and Harper - it's the likes of Doyle, Kitson, Matejovsky, Bikey and Shorey we need to keep.

My guess is he wants Hunt, Sonko and Sodje gone and probably wishes they'd go now. He's on record as wanting a RW, and he'll assess the squad (especially what the younger players have to offer) for other needs. Even so, maybe a hint of frustration sounding from Nick Hammond "we're putting players in front of him, but he's not ready to move yet... no deal will happen in the Championship that he's not informed about."

Basically what Hammond is saying on the official site is that Coppell has the option to get rid of the dross and bring in flesh blood, but STILL doesn't want to sign anyone and is 'happy with the squad'. No change there then, I see he has still not learnt from his mistakes - well done to the car park protesters, I hope you're proud of yourselves.

Forgetting of course that Harper and Hunt are already on very good wages which would be budgetted for given the length of their contracts. We may have to pay up a part of their contracts, although by no means all of it. So I suspect you've double counted there.

No, I didn't double count - if I'd pointed out we'd have even more money to spend on new players then surely that would strengthen my argument (not that I need to) even further?

Yes, of course I wasn't quite retarded enough to slam those saying we were going down halfway through last season.

I am glad I don't work for you!

If your boss said "My team are crap, Royalee is particularly useless and I'd like to sack him and his mates to bring in some decent workers" would you feel motivated to work or to just take a piss in the wastepaper bin?

Also if Coppell said he is unhappy with his squad, their training and their performance just how many million would that knock off the transfer fees we could expect?

Read it for what it is. it's just spin to get another stupid reporter with 'a story' to write off his back.

If you reckon it's just spin then you've learnt even less in the last two years than Coppell.
