The local media business model has been broken for years & no-one quite knows how to fund it properly...
The lack of scrutiny on elected officials by independent local media is a timebomb waiting to go off also...
The AI isation of the Internet with short AI summaries changing click-through behaviour is going to change, if not break, the model for media (& other businesses)...
Twitter (X) turning into a far right bin fire means HNA is now the only source of gossip (both ITK & not) for me - I'm curious as to whether this has had a positive financial impact on HNA as a platform?....
(As an aside, my mobile experience of HNA is way better than via laptop - where pop up ads slow me down at every click)
