Actually do we even have any local journos now Earnshaw has gone?
Some guy called
James Richings just did the Barnsley preview in the Chronic. Maybe he is the new guy or maybe just a temp.
Tim usually covers it all in his 6pm Friday show on Berks, often inc. a chat with journos from the opponents end of things too.
RoyalTV also usually have a prematch chat with Noel posted on YT on a Thursday.

Shouldnt the News aggregator page be removed. As the evening post is dead and the Chronicle is now behind a paywall, page now seems a bit of a waste of time.
Mainly annoyed I keep forgetting this and clicking on links (due to an ageing brain) that I cant read (due to becoming more tight-fisted)

Ramy on good form on X this afternoon. He appears upset because the 3rd kit is doing the rounds on social media

Yes he’s had a go at me for leaking it. When he writes articles about players leaking to him there is player unrest in the dressing room. Apparently leaking the kit is far worse

Another poster put it up a while back traff. Grab the headline and put it into AI mate. You can generally grab the essence of what's being said.

Well it’s all kicking off on twitter….. huang (brogue), Ramy, Dan. It’s amazing how much infighting starts when there is nothing to report on….

Are they fighting over meaningful Reading news or is it just girlie name calling and handbags?

Yeah it was really. I leaked the new kit and Ramy came out with a long winded post about how fans shouldn’t do this sort of thing. And i shouldn’t be leaking stuff from the club
This despite him having a pinned post on his profile about the Lisbie transfer before it was announced by the club
And an article last season about player unrest in the dressing room.
So I accused him of being a hypocrite and to stay in his lane he's a sports correspondent for a failing local rag not a twitter moderator.

I imagine what he meant by “fans shouldn’t do this kind of thing” is “that’s my job and you’re making it redundant”.
There’s no other reason I can conceive why he’d take such a ridiculous position other than sheer desperation.

I think you’re right. Apparently we are the only club in the efl that leak things too

With regards to the kit leaks, perhaps those marketing people should realise that making Reading fans wait nearly to the start of the season EVERY season fuels the fires of desperation and people will go looking for any clues and info that seemingly isn’t forthcoming.
You can already buy the 3rd shirt on knock off Chinese website, DH Gate, FFS, so I’d suggest that they start paying attention to the way these things work, and stop with all the slow drip marketing tease bullshit that no one enjoys, but clearly serves to make them feel important and justify their dying positions.

This is the sort of thing RoyalsTV should be announcing and pushing out on the OS and on its YT channel, it should be building that excitement amongst the fanbase asap so the fanbase can decide what they want to do and - if they wish - start arranging the necessary loans required to by a football shirt in this day and age.

I think Ramy's got a pretty thankless task because the Chronicle purely exists for advertising revenue but there's no excuse for beefing on social media.
I don't know why the club don't just take it in house because ause I don't know anyone who looks at the website.
