Never heard of him, but a quick look shows height, presence and a bit of a shithouse. Scorer of a Barnsley goal I remembered at the time where he barged into the GK and somehow the ref didn't blow up.

Looks like good spell at Aberdeen which earned a £2m move to Brum, after which his career has nosedived except a half decent loan at Plymouth a few years ago. His stats at Barnsley are appalling.

I think worth an effort as there looks to be a player in there. I think Ryan put some good crosses in yesterday with nobody to attack them, and he would solve that. I'm sure he'd get goals if we played to his strengths.

He needs to stay fit and start scoring goals. We can't sign off on a 350k salary just for a guy to come off the bench in a few games and win a few headers.
