Hob Nob Anyone?

A friend of mine was chatting with one of our goal keepers at the weekend and apparently the players think both Lita and Shorey will leave the club this summer.

Just a rumour, but it did come from a player.

I knew it, I bloody knew it!

Their agents will be telling them that next summer they can earn 40k minimum elsewhere, and we can only stretch to a rumoured 25k.
We either sell now or lose Shozza for nothing next summer.
Sell Lita now or get a nominal amount in compo.

If the right bid is received then of course they will be on their way, it's a fact of life.

But they both have contracts for two more years - I cant think we'd sell them this summer - maybe next summer but we can afford to wait a year whatever is offered.

But again if the right bid comes in, ie one we think is fair and is a move that the player is interested in then we will most likely sell.

I believe Coppell has a policy of letting players know about all bids received for them.

Does anyone know where I can get a YAWN emoticon ?

Every player has their price as was shown with Halford. If someone wants to pay over the odds for these two then we will sell, just like we would for any other member of our squad.

The difference being that Halford wasnt really an established first team player!

That is irrelevant. Every player has their price, even at a club like Chelsea or Man Utd.

Feel free to yawn, but personally I think it would be disasterous if we lost Lita and Shorey this summer and if the consus of opinion amongst the players is they're leaving then I'm concerned.

Good news though Harper, Cox and Long have extended their contracts.

Big fcuking deal, no one wants them anyway.

Obviously it's still a rumour and they could both sign, but the conversation with the player did happen. Lets face it the player could of been spouting complete bollox, but this is the Rumours Or Gossip forum so I thought I'd share it with you.
