SPECULATION - Nathan Dyer

I think he would be a great signing. Rejected a contract at the “biggest club in the division.” Pace, young and can play on either flank; also whenever I have seen him play seems a goal threat. Rejected a contract so can be snapped up for a nominal fee, get in there Sir Steve.

He'd be a genuine steal.

I saw what you did there! :)

Can we still play him on day release from the clink?

He's under 24 so it wouldn't be a nominal fee, it would be a tribunal fee which is always a bit of a gamble.

pretty sure the tribunal fees are always lower than the selling club wants though

He is a decent player with bags of pace. Not sure Coppell would want to take a gamble on him given his recent shenanigans though.

Leroy hasn't been in trouble recently so we could do with a controversial figure at the club.

Isn;t that like pay rises are always less than you think you deserve ?

I reckon the fees are always skewed in favour of the larger club, so if we went for Dyer Saints would have us over a barrel.

Swansea are taking the piss with a 200k offer

Southampton look like they have no option but to sell, what with debts approaching 30 odd million

Seriously, come on :|

Without a manager in place it's hard to sign anyone but he's a class act. Come Hammond appoint a new manager and sign this boy.

He was really good for us.

we had him on loan for 3 months, but only played him for the last 4 weeks of that spell. And he decided he would rarthr go to swansea instead of coming back. Which is fair enough.

A decent signing for a team that wants to be challanging at the top i'd say.
