Worrying info about Lita

People here hopefully know I don't post on UR&G often and certainly don't make stuff up. And bear in mind I've just stuck my head out 2 days ago on the Team Board as a Lita fan. So here goes:

Heard from a good female friend who's friend works at the club in some capacity (so, 3rd or 4th hand 'info') that Lita got into a fight with Sonko during training.

Also heard stuff about him, which I won't post here, (1st hand info) being very aggressive and arrogant generally.

That's all. If there's a discussion about this somewhere else I apologise and can someone direct me to it please. Thanks.

The view of many Bristol City fans when Lita was there were very similar.

It's here, though there's not much discussion about it.

Obviously I can count on the board's moral guardians coming down hard on Sonko if it is true that he attacked another player in our squad? Someone a lot smaller than him...

The official site says Lita will be starting with Dave Mooney for the reserves on Wednesday. Does that mean he is forgiven?

It means he's still on display for loaning out

Oh great, another Leroy thread.

"A friend of a friend's Uncle's cat heard something in the pub about Lita..... blah blah blah".

Facts:
Sonko refused to play for the reserves (Lita won't).
He made it clear he wanted to leave.
We sold him.

And yet everyone focuses on Lita.

Boring.

Mate I know what you mean. I'm bored of it too, and ppl here will know I've been a big Lita fan and have defended him for things as as far as I'm concerned if he's playing well I don't care what he does in his provate life. But maybe that's precisely why I'm so bothered this time: a) because I think he's a great footballer and I just wish he'd sort himsefl out b) his attitude seems to have been affecting his form and c) because I actually heard this first hand so for the first time am inclined to believe it.

The worst story I've just been told (a night out in Reading, my friend was right next to him and saw it with her own eyes): Lita pushed in front of someone in a queue, a guy asked him to go back to his place, Lita looked at the guy then pulled out a £50 note, started wiping the sweat off his own face slowly, then just dropped the note on the floor and walked off.

I'm particularly shocked at this as I heard it from a primary genuine witness hence this thread. It's not a "friend of a friend's uncle's cat" thing.

Seems like the guy isn't just aggressive (I was expecting her to say Lita headbutted him) he's just a arrogant nasty piece of work who seems a little bit, well... mad. And for the first time ever I can see why Coppell has such difficulty sorting him out. Ian Wright was a monster on the pitch but a gentleman off it (still is). There's no excuse.

I wish to God he'd just grow up as I love the guy on the pitch when he's in form. Sort it out Lita FFS.

Sorry I know this discussion can go on the many other Lita threads it's just I wanted to share these rumours and wondered if others had heard the same.

Re: Sonko... he's gone but Lita's still here. That's why we're focussing on LIta. I don't care in the slightest about Sonko.

A year or so ago I witnessed him burning £20 notes in a bar to show off. I hoped we'd sell him in the summer to Pompey, but I still think he'll be farmed out on loan soon.

Cocky, convinced of his greatness, agressive, 'nightclubs', sweating a lot for no real reason....

Does he like poetry, maybe Byron? Has he ever been to Glasgow?

He is having a medical at West Ham as we speak.

The sooner he leaves this club the better. Talented striker, but what an idiot!

I wouldn't surprise me if Lita had 'given it some' with a guy a foot taller than him.

Seriously, why in the name of all that is good and goalscoring, did we not flog him to the whatever bidder we could this summer.

That's a Stan Collymore trick.

He has, and this is from a relative of mine, dined at a half-decent hotel's restaurant in Reading and simply left without paying on a number of occasions.

Shirley, there has to be a bidder first.

A minor technicality.

Surely after he had done it once they wouldn't serve him again?

He's certainly no Dave Kitson.....
