A number of clubs are tracking Blackburn goalkeeper Jason Brown, skysports.com understands.

The Welsh shot-stopper moved to Ewood Park in 2006, but had only featured once for the club before this season.

An injury to Paul Robinson saw Brown handed his Premier League debut and he fared well for Paul Ince's side.

Now teams are looking at his situation and are consindering making a move for the 26-year-old.

Reading, Charlton, Barnsley and Leicester are among the clubs understood to be tracking Brown.

imo we do need a new goalie in the squad as i dont think federici is good enough at this level
also hamer/ andersen are not ready to be regularly involved in the first team

dont know anything about this guy so am not going to comment

we need someone new to provide marcus with competition and then take over from him in a year or two when marcus retires

Never rated jason brown. But if were talking back up for USA then all good. But he wouldn't drop a division to be second place still.

But i really think after this year we need a new goalie.

He had a huge backside at Gillingham.

Good keeper though and worthy of our bench IMO.

I'd rather we went for Matt Murray though.
