Tomorrow to look at players vs Sheffield Wednesday according to interview just now on BBCRB. Could he just be preparing for the game in mid March or looking to make a purchase?

No need for a manager to visit a club before selling a player to them - never heard of that happening before.
Managers and coaches will watch a match of some kind on just about every day of the week - and especially against upcoming opponents. In this case we just happen to know where they'll be, that's all.

All SC said in the interview was he was going to watch ipswich v sheff wed, nothing about looking at players although i suppose that allusion can be drawn as we don't play either side for a couple of months...
Danny Haynes or that Walters guy anyone?
Nodoubt also that KD is off to a game and NH and BM as well...

How many games tomorrow have two teams we've yet to play, a decent chance of being on and are a comfortable drive from Coppell's home ?
I can't see him volunteering to check out games at Preston or Doncaster !

Games tomorrow?? even today is difficult, and Doncaster is off, so would probably diverted to Ipswich.

Steve Coppell was at Ipswich Town this afternoon.
I wonder who his interest is focused on.
Owen Garvan, who featured at No. 19 in the Independent best players outside the Premier League, might be on his radar. He's an U21 international for Eire.
This is what was in the shop window at Portman Road.
Ipswich.

Is that based on what was said on BBCRB after yesterday's game? If so, I reckon SC was probably trying to throw others off the scent and was nowhere near Ipswich this pm. With his abilty to spot cut price talent, why would he want other clubs to know in advance where he was looking?!
