Not going to happen. Fourth choice if he came here, I think he's burnt his bridges. We're fine for centre backs.

The simple question you have to ask with this is why?
The only answer I can think of is he knows our system and we're worried about the fitness of Duberry and Bikey.

Suspect it's more a case of a journalist trying to make up a story tbf. Even if Sonko did express a desire to come back here on loan, which I doubt, Coppell wouldn't want him here.

No thanks, we need defenders who are comfortable on the ball, not hoofing it up in the air. Pearce is a composed CB and has the right mentality.

Agreed, it's nothing more than paper talk and I would be more than surprised if there was any truth in it, especially with the way that he left etc... Pearce is by far the best youngster/fringe player to make the step up this year and as a player reminds me a lot of Upson when he was here a few years ago.

I don't disagree in the slightest, I was just trying to provide a reason why it MIGHT be true and that was the absolute best (and only) thing I could come up with.

No way will this happen, paper rubbish.
BTW why did they not print Kitson and Shorey to make a return to RFC as well at the same time then it might have been a story!!

I'll make a call tomorrow to find out if this is true or not.

Kitson to return is much more likely than this.
Shorey? Oh, I'm not sure- I think Sonks would rather come back to us, but we'd rather have Shorey. I don't think there's much chance of either coming back.

Kitson 4/1
Little 10/1
Sonko 10/1
Shorey 12/1
Sidwell 50/1
IMO
Actually some of those probably aren't nearly long enough.

LOLZ at that one - 50,000/1 probably isn't long enough.
More chance of Robin Friday returning to play for against Brizzle City on Saturday than Sidders coming back here.

I was just going for something much longer than the others. I'd add a couple more zeros on further thought.

The only reason to take him on loan would be to put him straight in the team. Why would we do that when Pearce/Duberry are doing so well? Complete bunkum.
