Reading are reportedly chasing Hull City keeper Boaz Myhill.

Steve Coppell is reported to be an admirer of the Welsh International, whom he may attempt to sign in the summer should Reading win promotion to the Premier League.

A fee of around £2.5 million has been hinted in some media reports with Myhill having found himself as the club`s number 2, now behind Matt Duke. Reading are currently third in the Coca-Cola Championship but are struggling for form as they attempt to bounce back to the Premier League at the first attempt.

Always rated him, quality keeper and would mean the end for Hahnmann and Federici if it happened. But first let's get ourselves promoted before speculating any further.

Tbh Hahnemann will leave at the end of the season.
Didn't he say he wanted to play in the MLS?

Yep.
Although he also said he wanted to play here for a while longer. MLS was where he wanted to finish his career though. He could probably play here until he was 50 and still be good enough to go back and play in the States....

IIRC, SSC was sniffing around Boaz a few years back. I have rated him for some time.

Why would we not stick with Fedders and Hahnemann for back up if we don't go up? Good enough for this league.

Because you have to look forward, and looking forward we might be a tad lacking in goal.

It means that you don't have to be in your club's first team to be one of the best keepers in the country.

HTH.
