grazing on Madejski pitch

I understand that Reading Borough Council have sheepishly admitted to the discovery of an ancient document granting grazing rights on the site occupied by Reading Football Club. From April 1st, animals chewing on the turf inside the stadium will be a common sight.
Have we been fleeced?
Did they have to ram through new local legislation?
What do ewe think?
Some believe that the introduction of manure to the soil will result in a better quality turf, resulting in a better playing surface. It could also be a good 'earner' for the club, any proceeds from the rental of the site going towards the purchase of new players who will specially trained to adapt to this new surface.
