Reading have supposedly offered a contract to Spanish forward Fali.

I find it strange that things like this could possibly take place without a manager at the helm, the same applies to making the decision on who gets released etc.

Royals move for Spanish striker
Reading have offered a contract to Spanish forward Fali, who is currently playing for Sevilla's B team in the Segunda Liga.
The Championship side have been watching the player for a number of weeks and have now pressed ahead with their interest by making an offer.
Fali, 25, is out of contract in the summer and he concedes that a move to England is an attractive proposition.
"Some clubs in the Segunda Division are also interested in me [as well as Reading]," Fali told skysports.com.
"I will take a few weeks to consider things and then decide on my decision - but English football is always very attractive."
Fali will not be staying with Sevilla's B team as they have suffered relegation and they are cutting back on their current squad.

Releasing players I'm not at all surprised at without a manager especially given who they were.
Signing, or attempting to sign a player is another matter entirely...
I can't help but smell a little cow turd about this one. But maybe...

I've heard he has a tendency to Fall(i) over a lot - known as a bit of a diver in his home country!

Reading have their manager sorted that's why. It'll be announced shortly. It's Martinez and his Spanish connections, that's why they want this Fali guy.

Paultheroyal critiscises players who he has never watched personally, and still thinks he's in a better position to judge than our scouts on whether or not he'd be good for RFC.

I repeat with a variation - Sevilla get relegated - he only plays for the B Team - he is in his mid 20's - oh and does not get offered a contract.
Sounds quality.

We're talking about the Sevilla who have Kanoute, Kone, Luis Fabiano, and Chevanton as their main strikers right? Oh, and the Sevilla who are
THIRD in La Liga ATM.
Before you start spouting crap like that, perhaps you should do your research.
