Bring A Mate Day -
  Saturday 11th November 2000
Reading FC -v- Colchester United, Madejski Stadium, 3pm kick-off
Remember Pants Day?
Well now it's time to reward the players and management with the best Madejski
  Stadium atmosphere ever.
How? By creating the first 20,000 plus crowd of the season at the Madejski Stadium.
It's easy enough - just bring along a mate or two and help fill the Mad House
with a real party atmosphere! Get on the phone right now and call up a friend
  - it's the ideal time with the Royals playing some blinding football at home.

The East Stand and North Stand are both unreserved - so you can safely
buy tickets in seperate blocks and then meet up on the day. It's best to book
your tickets in advance and save yourself 2 quid each in doing so - call the
  ticket office on 0118 968 1000.
Saturday 11th November 2000 is Mates Day at the Madejski Stadium.
Bring yourself, bring loads of friends and let the Royals entertain you.
Help create a real party atmosphere - bring plenty of blue and white
balloons, and make sure you bring your shouting voice and your mates!
Save 10% in the Megastore!
Those that bring their mates and their Mates Day flyers to the Megastore
will receive 10% off all non-sale Reading FC merchandise. The vouchers are valid
before 1.30pm on Mates Day and then all day every day of the following week
(including the Sunday following the match). 10% discount vouchers were handed
out at the Oxford game - if you didn't get one you can pick one up from the
Town Hall tourist information office, Reading central library, or from Town
News in Smelly Alley (Union Street in the town centre).
Win four chances to take a penalty at the next home game!
There will be five extra Golden Gamble tickets drawn on Saturday at half time.
These extra tickets will give five lucky fans the chance to score a penalty
at Madejski Stadium. Whether you want to clinically finish it like Jamie Cureton
or slot it in Martin Butler style this is your chance for fame and glory. Make
sure that you get a Golden Gamble ticket, even if you don't win this prize,
there's always the cash to go for.
You will be taking your penalty at the Reading V Cambridge United fixture on
Saturday, December 2rd (which is also the 70th Birthday of Reading Football
Supporters Club) so remember to bring your boots if you win!
All supporters who have the winning numbers should get in touch with Mike Kearney
on 0118 968 1486 as soon as possible after the game to claim their spot.
