Previous Meetings

Reading have had the advantage over Wrexham over history.
Reading wins: 14
Draws: 4
Wrexham wins: 9
Figures include League, FA Cup, and League Cup only.

2000/2001 Season:
Last season Reading disposed of Wrexham 4-1 at home, with two goals from Martin Butler and two from Darren Caskey before half time. We then completed the double later in the season with a vital 2-1 victory at the Racecourse ground with a double from Martin Butler:
17 March 2001: Wrexham 1 Reading 2
17 October 2000: Reading 4 Wrexham 1

1999/2000 Season:
Reading got the better of Wrexham during the 1999/2000 campaign - winning four of the six points. However, Wrexham took a point off the Royals at the Madejski Stadium.
1 April 2000: Wrexham 0 Reading 1
18 December 1999: Reading 2 Wrexham 2

1998/1999 Season:
Well Reading won on aggregate at least during the 1998/1999 season with a storming 4-0 victory. Williams grabbed two, Brebner got one, and Parkinson got the other as Wrexham were truly stuffed by teh Royals. It was some decent revenge after a 0-3 defeat at the Racecourse earlier in the season.
9 January 1999: Reading 4 Wrexham 0
8 August 1998: Wrexham 3 Reading 0
