Re: Speculation - Matt Jarvis

Jarvis is quality. Kightly was looking good once he got regular playing time and showed a strong work ethic. I would imagine Jarvis would be sought after by some mid-table prem teams though, no?

Who hasn't stalked a university girl now and again? Honestly, I hadn't heard about that.

Re: Convey Stars in MLS Playoffs (NY 1 San Jose 3)

Didn't he OFTEN visit children in hospital during his time at Reading? I agree with the earlier post that this author is a self-important douche bag who feels he's owed animated interviews from players he's already publicly voiced dislike for. I'm sure Bobby is ABSOLUTELY RELIEVED to be off of this ...

Re: BURNLEY (H) - Match Thread

I've never said it before, but I'll say it now: Coppell Out. my words exactly Well done, you're calling for the sacking of a man 25 mins from resignation. Talk about sticking your neck out. I wasn't trying to "stick my neck out." I'm just gutted right now. I can take a loss, but I can't s...

Re: BURNLEY (H) - Match Thread

I think Coppell made SHunt quit drinking in the locker room and that's why he's playing for shite. Give him a few pints and he'll score a hat trick for us.

He seems like a drunk old man at the craps table in a Vegas casino who doesn't know when to quit. He just keeps rolling snake eyes and thinking his luck will change.

Re: Should Coppell play himself in the Play Offs?

Let's not forget Kingsley's discipline problems. He's was ejected from the match the only other time he ran down the wing for us. Who was that ref again? Rob Stiles?

Re: New Reading Podcast - Now on Facebook

Well, THAT would be a call OUT show  I have a video podcast and we've used Mogulus to do a live video stream and at the same time we recorded the video to edit later. They could easily just set up a camcorder or webcam and broadcast video of them recording the show. people watching the stream ...

Re: New Reading Podcast - Now on Facebook

Good job again this week! I'd love to hear you guys get audio submissions from hobnobbers; they can record a question and send you the sound file. You can edit it in and respond to it on the podcast. I know it can't be a call in show, but that could be a nice little segment to plug in there at some ...

Re: New Reading Podcast

Great idea. I'd always wondered why nobody had done this before. There are a few production issues with the sound quality, etc, but easily fixed. If you can sink some money into a ZOOM H4 digital recorder, it'd really do a good job for you. It's small enough to carry to the games and interview fans ...

Checking up on Bobby Convey

Here's Bobby's first goal in the MLS for the San Jose Earth Quakes. It's nice to see him finding his form again.

Bikey:

1. He's a badass
2. He kicked Peter Crouch in the beanbag
3. His two goals in one match against Birmingham
4. He has a cool name
