Re: Blue-collar streetfood

Which fish & chip shop was that? We used to buy ours from Deep Blue next to Lidl but, in our opinion, they became an absolute rip-off with relatively low quality fish and chips at prices way higher than we would pay for better quality in London! When they dropped their loyalty scheme we ended o...

Re: The Non - League thread

If it helps with referee abuse dropping then I am all for it. The one worry I have is that all referees are different so one week a player may get a free pass and another week he might get sin binned. When it was rolled out did they make references to kids football? Does it apply to Under 9's for e...

Re: The Non - League thread

Just seems like a lot more to remember, especially for young refs coming in to the game. I think like other fans, you are overthinking it. A player gets a yellow card, he goes in the book. A player gets a sin bin, you write the time in the book. The coaches/players won't let you forget there's some...

Re: The Non - League thread

Who keeps tabs on the time the players are in the sin bin? The assistant ref? The ref generally speaking, though they can assign to one of the assistants if they want to. Pretty easy to remember tbh. If the watch is stopped, so is the sin bin. Just seems like a lot more to remember, especially for ...

Re: The Non - League thread

Have you made use of the sin bin rule yet? Surely it will end up causing more trouble than it is worth. Twice on Sunday. Won't cause any trouble IMO. Will actually mean you hear a lot less dissent and whinging from the players throughout. Teammates will soon get on their backs when they have to pla...

Re: BFTG WBA

Puscas played as a lone striker with Boye in the gap behind. Swift and Ejaria played deeper as well. (Away formation?)

Rather than having Joao to play off of he was left quite isolated a lot of the time, did a heck of a lot of running in behind but the ball wasn't good enough.

Leeds (A) 22nd Feb

Getting ahead of myself here....

Potential for this to be a massive game between two of the top teams in the league. With free travel for this fixture we should be selling this out.

Pencil it in your diary, and start saving for the ridiculous ticket pricing.

:D

Rafael - 7: Solid Moore/Miazga/Morrison - 6: There were times tonight where we were under heavy pressure and you could tell a bit of miscommunication is occurring, but it's a brand new system and they have all performed admirably for the last 2 games. I love the Morrison signing. The guy is a leade...

Re: Free away travel

It looks like there is a limit of five free coaches for away travel. I've not got a problem with this. The reason why I say this is because I rang the ticket office and asked about it. The operator gave me the Star phone number and I got through to an extremely rude man. I asked whether there was a...

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

I guarentee there are thousands of "fans" who left after we got relegated from the EPL and have never returned. That coincides with our financial troubles and nearly going into administrations. Coincidence? Let's be honest. The past few years have hardly been entertaining. With football n...
