Re: Reading FC Womens World

Good performance and result. They actually had a few good chances to win it. Commentator on FAPlayer was so far up Arsenal's arse that I'm surprised he didn't shoot out of Beth Mead's mouth! In his world pretty much everything seemed to be down to Arsenal not performing well, rather than a...

Re: Injury watch 2020/21

yes posted something on instagram . Explains why not in the luton squad anyway, so hopefully we can stop frothing about that now Yep. He would have played last Saturday if fit . Important that Joao stays fit with Meite out for at least two more weeks. yes, disappointing certainly. Looks like Baldoc...

Preston on 24 Jan (Sky Sports - ch. 513 if you have Virgin) 3. Bournemouth on 29 Jan (Sky Main Event - ch. 511 if you have Virgin...

Re: Brentford game postponed

:( :( More time for team to recover I guess. Moore will be back soon. The policy seems inconsistent. We've seen weakened teams fielded, 3 points awarded for no shows in L1 & L2, and postponements. If the shoe was on the other foot, we'd say this is a fair outcome. But I'd have wanted a crack at...

Re: Reading FC Womens World

The gulf in resources and quality between the really big clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal & Man City and the rest in the England's top division is now even greater in the women's game than it is in the men's.

Wow...how times change. We are knocked out of the FA Cup by Luton and some folks are pretty OK about it ?? Puskas and Swfit have played something like just ELEVEN league games this season BETWEEN THEM !!! Surely, one or both could have played some part today ? Resting them for what ?? They are prof...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a)

I might be being blind and missed this - but can you get BT Extra through the red button on Sky (if you have a BT sub via Sky)? From: https://www.lutontown.co.uk/news/2021/january/info-for-reading/ To access Extra, BT subscribers can simply press the red button on their remote (Sky platforms) or sw...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Luton cup game is on ESPN+ for anyone in (or appearing to be in) the USA.

https://www.espn.com/watch/schedule/_/type/upcoming/channel/ESPN_PLUS/startDate/20210109

You can get a monthly pass and that will also cover you for any other games that Sky cover in the forthcoming month.

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

BT Sport extra 6- anyone know how to watch the extra channels ? You need a subscription so at the very minimum it's £25 for a month sub. So that's a no from me. I have BT Sport through SKY system- do BT have a red button to watch extra ? This is from 6 years ago but I think it still applies? https:...

Re: Rival Watch

imo this should be applicable for league fixtures too. Could lead to some utterly farcical games. Imagine if a club had all it’s forwards unavailable but was still forced to fulfil a fixture.... Give over. If an illness, stomach bug or flu spreads through a squad, you still need to fulfil fixtures....

Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City (a) sponsored by a no pressure game

My view is we've def got a strong chance of the play offs IF we have better luck with injuries. Our form is basically mid table since we started having injury issues but because of our start we have maintained a play off place, if we continue mid table form though we will end up at best top 10. Its...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City (a) sponsored by a no pressure game

Great point from a fairly entertaining game. Loved the post match interview from VP to remind Sky about confidentialality (sp??) re contracts - I think that's been well and truly broken tonight. Fair play VP! Sky were also speculating. They have heard that there is a release clause but their source...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City (a) sponsored by a no pressure game

I think last night’s result was the best we could have hoped for, given the team sheet.Noticeable when Swift came on we began to have far more of the game. All credit to Holmes and McIntyre who under serious stress hung in there.Three players an absolute waste of space and Rino and Josh also found it...

Re: Time to drop Rafael?

Good. His ability has never been in question. He just needs to stop the clangers. Hopefully this post never need surface again Not sure it 'needed' to surface in the first place. And I guarantee he will drop some more clangers in the future - every single keeper at every level does. Outfield player...
