Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

Only just seen the replay of the foul for the free kick. Couldn't get much softer imo. Debatable whether it actually even is a foul. For me, Rino (unintentionally) catches him slightly as he's winding up to shoot. I think the ref's got it spot on (unlike a lot of the rest of the game), but it's a t...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

Stopped the rot is the positive but some piss poor performances in there, with Semedo and Ejaria both hopeless. Olise too clever for his own good, no point doing the flash stuff when he so often messes up the simple stuff. Holmes was excellent.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

So so poor. Offering absolutely nothing going forward and you’re always susceptible to conceding from a set piece or a deflection or another jammy goal. Awful set pieces and just generally lumbered and shit. Olise on for Semedo at half time who offers absolutely nothing. When was the last time we c...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

tidus_mi2 Absolute bullshit, dived for that free kick and 1-0.

Rubbish, Rhino pushed him as he was shooting. He’s giving away free kicks outside the box too regularly at the moment, and contributing little else.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

For all the talk by the commentators around how average, slow, run of the mill Millwall are, they have been better than us. Too many players not performing, Front four appalling and overall play negative just aimlessly passing around the back before Morrison hoofs it and gives it away. Awful.

Old Man Andrews More Rafael errors inbound, another defeat. We aren't getting anything at Millwall.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

I understand why people are sceptical of Aluko but oxf*rd hell, have people already forgotten that he scored a goal against Bournemouth? Put in a really good defensive shift in the first half too. Seems like a bit of a double standard that Aluko is being blamed for the first goal because he got a b...

Re: BFTT Bournemouth

I think people are being a bit harsh on Joao. When you play as a lone striker it is hard and with 5 in midfield there were plenty out there to do the covering. Somebody said about fitness and the midfielders looked knackered and were slow to close down players in the second half. I said when talkin...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bournemouth (a) sponsored by Jimmy Quinn

Still think we sit back far too much and leave too much space for the opposition to play in. Moore, Richards and Esteves are all quick so it’s not as though we have to sit back because we’re slow, but every one if the last four defeats is us sitting back far too much. Disagree completely. We gave B...

Mannone

From BBC Sport: Monaco came from two goals down to end Paris St-Germain's eight-match winning streak in Ligue 1, moving second with a stunning victory. Mannone in goal, always thought it a bit strange he didn’t do well for us with a good pedigree, and still only 32. Monaco obviously a great move and...

Re: Back from whatever that was.

cp I'm not accepting that this game is over. Many of the goals were illegal and were counted after the time allowed for them to be scored. In fact Reading won, yes they did. A beautiful beautiful win.

Re: Back from whatever that was.

I’m surprised people are bothering to give ratings. Coventry I can accept as we were good enough., the last two games I can’t. Two 3-0 home defeats in a row raises eyebrows and serious question marks even in a relegation season with a manager on his way out. To be facing this when top of the table ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h) sponsored by Dylan Kerr

Why the oxf*rd do we push up so much when 2 nil down and 1 minute to go. Jesus, that was dreadful again, individual errors are killing us. Thought Gibson did well until then.

Two Semedo headers Gibson missed header Baldock chance just wide blocked shots from Yiadom and Joao Joao making no effort to get on a perfect cross from Yiadom Esteves chance just wide We've had 13 shots, 4 on target at least two narrowly wide and six blocked. You said we’re creating. If you meant ...

Oooo improvisation and nearly a goal from Baldock there. We're creating a lot of decent chances, but nothing is coming off. I haven’t seen many decent chances, I want to watch whichever game you’re watching Two Semedo headers Gibson missed header Baldock chance just wide blocked shots from Yiadom a...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h) sponsored by Dylan Kerr

There's plenty of players to be fed up with in this performance, I just don't really see Baldock as high up in the list Oh no my major frustration this game has been Semedo. I just always feel resigned to defeat whenever Baldock comes on. To me its a signal that the game is over. Baldocks done alri...
