Re: Champions League/Europa League 2020/21

Erling Haaland the fastest player to 15 Champions League goals (albeit he is now on 16), in just 12 games. Beats the record previously held by Van Nistelrooy and Soldado, which was 19 games. He's got 17 in 13 games now this season for Dortmund. 23 in 18 if you include his goals for Norway. I really...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

Snap Yep - same, think we may all have chosen a slightly different journey to get there - same points but with wins and defeats more spread out and a lot of people might feel more confident that they do now. A win on Saturday will change all that of course. Yeah agree with this as well. 4 defeats f...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

Thought Laurent had an ok game but just watching the highlights both of Millwalls clearcut chances (header over from 5 yards and Wallace's shot) both came from him losing a man or not spotting a run. Still overall, he played well but got lucky with those incidents.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (h) sponsored by Scott Murray

Interesting game this one - not one for saying games at this point are pivotal but this could be. WIth Brentford playing tomorrow night, we could start this game out of the top 6 - a win will likely see us jump back up to 3rd or 4th, a draw probably sees us stay 7th (expecting Boro or Stoke to win) ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

it's a funny old game. if you'd offered me 6th after 13 games at the start of the season I would've taken it straight away Snap Yep - same, think we may all have chosen a slightly different journey to get there - same points but with wins and defeats more spread out and a lot of people might feel m...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

Kinda feel Rafa was suspect on the freekick. The wall set up and his positioning just seemed to leave the goal looking massive and exposed. I thought at the time we'd concede. Great freekick, but can't help but feel it was made easier than it should have been. Agree with that I think regardless of ...

Hound Derby really are utter toss

6pts adrift of safety already. Wycombe and Coventry next 2 games. Could easily be 9 or more adrift by this time next week.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

Hadn't seen their form - 1 win in 6 - at Preston. Which includes games against the teams in 1st, 14th, 15th, 16th, 18th and 23rd. In comparison our 4 defeats are against sides who are 2nd, 7th, 15th and 21st. Very winnable but gut says as we have a chance to re-open a gap to 7th tonight, we won't. W...

Re: Rival Watch

Wasn't part of Operation Big Picture that parachute payments were dropped in favour of increased payments to all Championship clubs in order to level that playing field. Unsusal for all 3 relegated sides to be doing so well at this stage though, there is usually one who struggles. Huddersfield last...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Ricky Newman

More Rafael errors inbound, another defeat. We aren't getting anything at Millwall. You must be so much fun to be around... They are facts. We have nothing to be positive about and we will lost the game this evening. Your ridiculous and idiotic positivity will get you nowhere. Impossible for those ...

Crazy that given the Norwich win we will still be top 6 even with a 5th straight defeat tomorrow night.

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

Liverpool were fantastic yesterday, nice to see Firmino get a goal at the end too with his luck being out and him getting a bit of stick recently Even more impressive when you consider Van Dijk, Trent, Gomez, Thiago, Henderson, Chamberlain, Shaqiri and Salah were all out and Keita hobbling off (aga...

Re: BFTT Bournemouth

We weren't the best team in the league when we were winning. We aren't the worst now. We need to snap this run then this team is good enough to be around the play-off hunt.

Bristol snapped out of a bad run, we can too.

Re: Nations League & Friendlies

Lovely stuff from Wales tonight. Dan James outstanding. So promotion to the top League and a very good chance of a World Cup play off place if we mess up the WC qualifiers Unless 2 of France, Belgium, Italy and Spain screw up qualifying so badly they finish 3rd or lower in their group then Wales ar...

Old Man Andrews 5 substitutions are now allowed in Championship games.

Fair enough. England about the only major league not already doing it.

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

As Sanguine has said in the other thread, been reported that Gomez has suffered a “serious injury” on international duty It’s easy to say after the event has happened but I personally don’t (didn’t) see the need for so many international games this year crammed in. No need for friendlies etc Liverp...
