Re: Flat reading fans!

You can go on any football fan site in the country Liverpool, Manchester United, Leeds- whatever and find supporters bemoaning their home atmosphere and wishing every game could feel like an away one. The reasons given are always the same, all seater stadiums, middle class fans, sky, day trippers at...

Re: Brighton (H) Prediction Thread

I just don't think we can compete with that catchment area tbh and I assume Brighton have sold out the East Stand as normal.

Re: TSI - The Promises, Policies & Progress Thread

We didn't spend any money because Anton doesn't HAVE any money. The club and the owner are not the same entity! In how many other industries is all investment paid for by the owners/shareholders following the share issue? The club has to finance itself. No it doesn't. That's JM's line because he (q...

Re: TSI - The Promises, Policies & Progress Thread

AZ is basically a slightly richer version of SJM, willing to subsidise the business in a limited fashion but not a sugar daddy that is going to throw away his Father’s cash so we can all watch Premiership football every year. Thems the breaks folks. If anybody on here wants to buy the club and spen...

Re: Why wont the club tell us the truth?

I just want someone at the club to tell us they have no real desire to be in the PL. This would then explain their behaviour to new signings last year and to the txfer window, I was very critical of Brian McD last season as he was blamed for not bringing in new players by AZ but I suspect now he ha...

Re: Squad review now transfer window has closed

Should be fine for a mid table finish, maybe an outside shot at the play-offs if it all comes together.

Hopefully all the types that text Sky Sports News to ask where they, 'reckon the parachute payments have gone' will be so appalled they will stop going and posting.

Re: Anton To Face Fans Backlash?

This is exactly the same sort of inane, economically unaware, dribble spouted at SJM for so many years from idiots who have played too much Football Manager with Sky Sports News on in the background. “Where have the TV millions gone?” “I’ve been conned into buying a season ticket.” “This is the wor...

Re: Anton To Face Fans Backlash?

Yes, how dare the owner not give us more of his money to subsidise an even greater loss for the business!

Does he not realize the full impact of a minority of several thousand office workers grumbling in his general direction as he sits on his red, padded seat?

If not I fear he soon will.

Re: Has Adkins lost the dressing room

I didn't want Brian to go but it takes two to three seasons to build a new team and some of the over reaction to losing a pointless cup game has been absurd. It's a rebuilding year, mid-table obscurity at worse while Nige gets his players in and implements the passing style the owner and so many on ...

Re: Russian Money

As with all good conspiracies I imagine there is a pretty boring explanation; someone forgot to do this or did not realize they had to.

I would expect TSI to provide the parent company cash flow statement when someone or other gets back from holiday.

Super Kevin Bremner! Carl Asaba £800,000.

Steve Moran £250,000

Darren Caskey £750,000 (that one turned put alright into opinion though)

Caskey almost single handedly saved us from relegation with his free kicks - the fat ****

Re: Season tickets 2013/14

Chatting to bloke in the ticket office yesterday and he said we're just shy of 14000 sold - pretty good for the Championship, should be looking at around 20k attendances for a significant proportion of games, particularly if it's going we'll on the pitch.... Not at £27 an adult ticket we wont. Too ...
