The national league is pretty much, outside of a few clubs, a full time league with decent fanbases providing the cash to support that only 6 average lower than 1000 a game. I'd not be against it going under the umbrella of 'league' football as it's nothing like the majority of non league. National ...
Do you really think a organisation that doesn't own the masts is able to get money from them? If they had no right to the cash they'd simply not get it from the phone company right?!
Anyway lets not spam this thread with windsor stuff!!
They are not 'owed' anything. The old deal was with Windsor and Eton FC who were liquidated. Windsor FC has nothing to do with any of the old agreements legally. The whole argument is flawed. I read the crown estate ARE willing to share revenues from the phone masts which is a great offer and they r...
Windsor have launched a petition to try and get the crown estate to give them a longer lease. I'm sure paying the rent owed would be a better start to the negotiations but what do i know!! Maidenhead pull ahead in the race for promotion i see. I also took a look at the conference table to see how th...
Difficult to tell just from a photo but the pitch looks in pretty good 'nick' and, although elderly-looking, the stand appears structurally sound. Yeah the pitch is the pride and joy of the club and fanbase every time i talk to people who still go they bring it up! Not sure its been the money bring...
Windsor FC in a rent/lease row with the crown estate http://www.windsorexpress.co.uk/gallery/windsor/112734/windsor-fc-and-crown-estate-in-stalemate-over-the-lease-of-stag-meadow-ground.html Pretty incredible a club that supposedly doesn't pay wages has had to have the owner put in 200k over 6 years.
Windsor and Eton were paying 'top' players 300 quid a week and leagues below conference south but then they were not paying the taxman! Be surprised, in a good way, if Maidenhead were paying as little as 200 quid. It's insanity and not viable at all! As for FoC i loved Lewes away. Nice little town b...
Slough keeper taken to hospital with a suspected broken neck. He's tweeting so hopefully its not too serious. Bit of a reminder how its just everyday lads doing what they love and risking injury that could put them out of work for a while.
They don't tend to rush for broken legs for footballers. Have heard of longer waits than a hour.
Unless of course theres money to be made and a demand to watch the game every week like in the professional game where 99.9% they just get a free game out of it!
Much gnashing of teeth and disgruntlement from some of the core support who still think we should be in the Southern Premier League.... if they want to see a better standard of football they are going to have to wait awhile to see it at Stag Meadow on a consistent basis. Our best players will conti...
Chelsea have lost their status as the richest club in the league so are slowly going back to where they should be. Around the top 8. No shame in that apart from for their plastic new fans.
i think Windsor are trying to break the record for most players used whilst not being a total disaster of a side! I'll be withholding my money until it's a football TEAM and not a glorified trial side. Will get in a few weekend breaks with non league games dotted in to get my fix i think.
Surprised by drop off in Slough attendance already. Do Slough make ££ off the bar and facilities there or is it going back to pay off the £8 million to the taxpayer
