Re: Robin Friday

Oh give it a rest. Everyone is entitled to their own view of Robin. For me he was a rock star footballer. Had everything. I was in my teenage years when Robin was playing for Reading and I loved everything about him. From being shocked when he scratched his nuts (I was only about 13) and informed t...

Re: Bring Your Vuvuzela Day!

Wizard
seahawk10 So would the +1 mean that you intend to be in a stable relationship with susie before having her go down on you?

I didn't really mean the +1, I am just trying to fit in.

But ideally, yep, Susie is lovely.

royalexile He's a pantomine dame whose only minor misdemeanour was to roll the ball away when we had the freekick. He showed humour and made a damned fine save last night. I don't admire the guy but felt a hint of admiration last night.

Is this going to be a match by match grumble BTW.

Re: Party in the Madejski, we're not invited...

Why does everyone always get to party in our ground? Can think of three in less than a year. Its becoming annoying to watch, us trickling out with a few mins to go on each occasion with the away fans in full pelt taking the piss. Birmingham - sealing promotion, having a right sing and a party in th...

Re: Your first memory as Reading supporter...

`cant remember the year, probably 73-74 ish, Wagstaff & Dixon playing. The mainstand at Elm Park didnt have a turnstile, just some big doors I remember, nobody checked my next door neighbours season ticket, he just walked in without paying for me! Had a Bovril & some fruit pastiles, remember...

Re: Team for Villa

More likely than Henry IMO, and as I edited above... I couldn't see Sig being used as the sort of wide player that would be needed in a 4-5-1 formation. There's no way on Gods earth that a fit Gunnarsson is going to be left on the bench in order to play a rooky on the wing. It will be Sig out wide ...

Re: Liverpool replay

Update: Has been snowing since early morning and in Wirral (where i live) we've had a couple of inches of snow however now in Liverpool they've had less and it's more of a fluttering of snow that's not settling in most places. Although still snowing now it's more sleet like than what we saw last we...

Re: Shorey for

We all have a part in his downfall. Until he played for England he was a good LB, it all went to pot after his first turn out for England. Remember that shocking corner against Spurs in the last few minutes at ours, we desperatley needed to get the ball in the box, had them under a bit of pressure, ...
