Re: Confimred new owners of Reading Football Club

Find it hard to read some of the drivel on here so haven't checked last few pages of "he said, she said" waffle.

Re: The real big cock-ups

Reads like a lot of frenzied despair by people who are upset that Reading were unable to sort out deals. Hammond's fault? Chairman's fault? Maybe the despair is caused by the supporters for expecting far too much and putting out silly posts on HNA. With so many rumours we were only ever going to dis...

Re: Watford (H) Predictions

Watford win 1 - 0 but don't manage to get the ball into the goal. Reading claim Watford players are cheats for goal celebrations despite shooting wide.

Re: Magic Number to Survive Relegation

Looking at the current averages of points per game: Soton are on target to get 38, Newcastle ave .91 points a game, heading towards 34/5, Villa .87 leaving them on 33 and Reading .82, say 32 or 33. Extending these averages the bottom six teams should all be 38 points or below with the bottom three o...

Re: Negotiations ongoing - Tom Rogic

Added thought to my last post - BM would have done far better to look at Mariner's Pedj Bojic who is a far better right back than anything Reading have - fast, strong and confident.

Re: Negotiations ongoing - Tom Rogic

I watched him a few times for the Mariners this season and was amazed BM would even consider him. Yes, good feet, but physically week, untested against good opposition and when teams double teamed against him he was hopelessly lost. Poor bloke, I can't see him coping with the physical side of Scotti...

Re: Forest (H) Predictions

Liked Mike Hunt's comments on page 3. I travelled as a Reading supporter last year from Australia to see the Cardiff game then the final at Wembely. The team comes first. Wouldn't gamble on hoping just to go up ONLY when I can be there. Be there if you can to support the team - not your social life....

Re: Forest (H) Predictions

Me having another sleepless night in Sydney waiting, waiting, waiting. Waiting until Saturday after Reading and West Ham get draws and Saints get beaten. I soooo hope Reading don't get beaten by West Ham in the Prem next year. Wins against Southampton and Birmingham would be nice - and my prediction...

In Australia, 3.30 am. Woken up four times already during the night. Last time I couldn't sleep I missed the first half of the game, got updates on the second from BBC sport and only remembered to turn on the Telly for the last two minutes. Should I tempt fate and try and sleep for an hour or should...

Jumping the gun?

Reading the interesting topic "Weakest Team Ever to Get Promoted" got me wondering... IF Reading does get promoted - (what is the Magic number now? 7?) who from our squad could set the prem on fire? I agree with the comments that we have a good squad with lots of credit to Mc Buddha and hi...

My predictions for the last games fwiw: West Ham (A) W 2-0 Leeds (H) W 3-1 Brighton (A) W 2-1 Saints (A) L 1-3 Forest (H) W 3-0 Palace (H) W 2-1 Brum (A) D 1-1 Finish 2nd. Scores wrong, but right results so far; hope I'm wrong for the next game! Doesn't matter for going up - if your last three pred...

Re: Leeds (H) Match Thread - Sponsored by Ian Harte's left boot

Given the way teams have to play each other Reading are now assured of the playoffs - given the way Reading play against other teams Reading must be assured of the title!
