Re: The Cardiff Choke Countdown.

Even though I can't stand the Welsh, especially Cardiff, credit where it's due, fair play they have been the best team this season by a mile. Even that chappy Tommy Smith (remember him) has been a decent player this year.

anR I'm gonna cry on the telly.

2008 was worse. Beating Derby 4-0 and still going down by 2-3 goals is very hard to take, didn't help their moron fans after the game were complete w*nkers

Re: Petition to get Slough Town FC back in Slough

My local side Slough Town haven't had a ground in Slough for more than 10 years now. A site became available when a special needs school vacated its premises but now it is in threat of being taken over by another school . They are campaigning against the Department of Education who have demanded Sl...

Re: Petition to get Slough Town FC back in Slough

The club enjoys a very decent fan base, 400-500 each home match at Beaconsfield SYCOB FC, Slough get a very good crowd for the league and the fact they are homeless. No need to fudge the numbers. Apologies, somebody told me that was the average attendance, as I don't go to a lot of games.

Re: Care to answer some questions for a LFC forum?

Hello everyone, My name is Steven, and I am a member of the Liverpool forum Red & White Kop. On our forum, we have a feature called Spyin' Kop where we get the thoughts of opposition fans and I was hoping you could answer the following questions? Thanks in advance. 1. Sorry to bring it up, but ...

who gives a oxf*rd? if it bothers you that much what some bored or lonely white men write on the internet about people leaving early from games then you probably do need a safer hobby. whenever i've had to leave early i've just done it. is there a fire drill? no. does anybody who knows anything abo...

Re: Guthrie

I dont understand why Guthrie gets all the grief, as soon as ledge came on, same old same old. hoof hoof, no tracking back and just strolls about, does anyone know if that guy actually breaks into a sweat Nothing to do with the fact we were losing, shot of confidence and panicking then? But if you ...

McDermott allegedly drops Pearce over his contract - "What's he doing? He's just holding a grudge because Pearcey hasn't signed a contract. He should play him as Pearcey is our best defender". Adkins allegedly drops Pearce over his contract - "Well you can see where he's coming from,...

Re: One single decent chance at scoring

See the Loic Remy goal vs. Wigan for an example of why you need to spend fukking money to stay in this league. Would like to see one of our 'strikers' do that. Would like to see anybody in League Two do that. Massive LOL @ whoever it was at the club that thought buying L1/L2 players would keep us i...

Re: Player of the Season

Who believes Pearce to be 'saintly'? One person out of 222 ranked him in their top 3 players of the season, am I missing something. Mariappa will probably edge the vote, but in truth everyone's been fairly crap. Even the current poll's 2nd place, Le Fondre, has shown he's nothing more than a super-...

Re: Lack of Leadership

The McAnuff I watch does talk to the players. He does lead by example. He tracks back and does his defensive work, he always keeps plugging away even when it's not going right for him. His head does go down when he's not having much joy against the full back and now when we conceed again, but it do...

grey_squirrel After Lallana's lonesome, pedestrian stroll in the park to score, to those of you voting Mariappa - Big LOL.

One bad game doesn't make you a bad player. He's certainly been better than 'saintly' Alex Pearce.

Re: One single decent chance at scoring

Brian thought they were good enough, blame him I thought it was Leigertwood's fault. Or was it Jobi's? Gotta be Jobi, didn't once see him run back and help out the brilliant Kelly or make any attempts to get balls in Saints box. Shocking performance by our captain. Mariappa was miles better than an...

Re: Guthrie

Leigertwood was hardly a revelation when he came on I don't like Guthrie but fairs fair he played really well today. However I don't think legs was as bad as some say, can think of a few challenges he put and one great ball through that nearly got to ALF, karacan and akpan were hardly any better ei...
