Re: Speculation - Bas Dost

RFCSPACE Heard he rejected Aston Villa because he wanted to go to a 'big club'. Not sure we fit the bill.

if thats true then i think more importantly it seems that he does not fit the bill

dont want to see any player who thinks they are bigger/ better than the club

thats not how we role

Re: FA Cup

didnt used to care about the fa cup that much. always took the attitude that the league was more important and we should use the fa cup to give match fitness and experience to the youngsters and fringe players but the last couple of seasons has changed my mind. i now look forward to the cup ties as ...

Re: players in and out

2 mill for kebe would be brilliant for us if we used the money available to get in a proven goalscorer (billy sharp would be my ideal choice). would also happily wave goodbye to howard. get him off the wage bill for any sort of fee Mccarthy has to be kept hold of. brilliant prospect who has proven l...

Re: Rumour- Manset to Chesterfied.

wouldnt be a bad thing imo. im not a massive fan of the beast so if we could get a decent fee for him i would be happy for this to happen. a loan would also be good as he needs regular football and it will give us a stronger indication of what he is capable of as a first team player rather than as t...

Re: Back from the Game - Brighton (H)

The only negative for me was unfortunately my favourite player, kebe. He really didnt seem interested once we went one up. He was getting involved nicely for the first half hour and was very unlucky not to open the scoring and also did well for the assist of jobi's first. But after that i cant real...

Re: Next six games?

We have won the brighton game so for the next 5 im going to be optimistic Ipswich - W Cardiff - D Watford - D (always a poor game from what i remember) Hull - W Bristol - W I cant see us doing anything but win all our home games at the moment although hull are a strong team and getting a point from ...

Re: Back from the Game - Brighton (H)

Brilliant result from a game that could easily have turned out differently had brighton been able to take any of the chances they created in the second half. The back 5 looked pretty solid despite brighton making 3 or 4 clear goalscoring chances, but this is going to happen in a competitive league w...

Re: READING BID FOR ADAM LE FONDRE (BBC SHEFF)

brilliant signing for us. relatively cheap for a proven goalscorer albeit in the lower leagues. blatantly obvious our strike force is missing a natural goalscorer and ive got everything crossed that he can be this our squad looks good now, just a massive shame its taken 4 league games and a carling ...

Agent Balti
Row Z Royal Harte is adequate at this level. Mills might be better.

And considerably younger/quicker. (Can't be slower...)

dont think its humanly possible for a 22 year old to be slower than ian harte

Re: Rumour - Dave Kitson

think we could definitely do with having him back. adds some experience and a good track record to our fairly weak strike force

cant see it happening though. would require a decent fee and probably quite high wages which the club seems unable to meet

Re: SPECULATION - Jimmy Bullard

bookies have him to move to qpr.

will be demanding prem wages so only loaded teams like leicester would stand a chance of getting him in this league
also with his injury record i dont think hes worth the risk

Re: worth a punt

not sure i'd want either of these two even if we could afford their wages

lee cook is a decent player but always seems to be injured so not really worth a gamble

and i think rowlands is a centre midfielder, which we arent really in need of with our current squad
