Old Man Andrews How much?

Pretty sure face value is the rules according to Hobnob.

Though i wasn't born yesterday. Previously i've always bought and sold at face value on here.

Re: Sone Aluko to China!

I thought about this long and hard. What about, Ryan Babel playing for Fulham eight years after last being seen in England. Alternatively, Roy Hodgson coming out of the UAE / Viking wilderness to become an established manager again, rising to manage Liverpool and then ENGLAND! A good bit of long an...

Re: Sone Aluko to China!

We should do everything to shift in Jan, even if it's free.....however if we're stuck with him he may as well be around the squad. He had shown his quality throughout his career before joining us. He's clearly a confidence player who was at the club in the dire Gourlay era. I wouldn't say I expect ...

I quote from Millwall "terrycos said: who clocked the fat 40+ yr old Reading cock in full kit over to our right, not a one off saw him last time we were there..he even put on a kit track top ha ha never ever does that clubs supporters cease to amaze me. Yeah I saw the oxf*rd, surely he needs t...

Re: How times change

I support Reading but live in Peckham, should my unborn child be raised Millwall, a walk from our house, Palace, a team that could reasonably provide them with PL joy more often that not, Tottenham, a "big 6" team i notionally say i support to foreign people I meet on holiday who want to t...

Re: Ejaria vs Siggy

What a ridiculous comparison. Gylfi was possibly the best player we’ve ever had. Ejaria isn’t even our best midfielder right now. That might change in the future but right now there’s no contest. +1 Although i assume you're saying Swift is better. Swift's best moments are better. I think Ejaria loo...

Re: Have we sold the Mad Stad to the owners/someone else?

Derby did theirs at £80m, we did ours at £20m odd. I think we're in a safer position. Ours has previously been used for music events. £20m seems reasonable.

Re: CONFIMRED - Mark Bowen

this appointment is about as uninspiring as when we announced Pardew, Coppell then McDermott were to be our manager. Rodgers excited me, as did Adkins, Clarke and Stam, all shit. Clement was just :|, as was Gomes. I was excited about Coppell as well. I know this is mental, but i actually like watch...

Re: CONFIMRED - Mark Bowen

It would be interesting to know who else was interviewed for the job, who else was sounded out but said no. If others were interested, was Bowen doing the interviewing.. Who interviewed Bowen. It feels very shabby to come in in March, and 6 months later have sacked the manager having potentially bee...

Re: CONFIMRED - Mark Bowen

Yeah, because the man who took us to a playoff final and then promotion in consecutive seasons was so sought after I understand that Pardew and McDermott were successes. I also understand that Clement, Gomes were not. Bowen is not Pardew of McDermott, he hasnt worked with lots of the players in tra...

Re: CONFIMRED - Mark Bowen

3rd poor appointment in a row. Its a lack of ambition yet again. When we hired Adkins he was generally a sought after man. I suspect the same with Steve Clarke, and to a lesser extent Stam. What has changed? Have we given up going for the best candidate? Yeah, because the man who took us to a playo...

sandman Give him a chance.

If he puts on a nice suit and gives a few nice quotes about his "process" and says "my players" a few times I'm sure the twitterati will soon fall at his feet.

+1

Re: GOMES OUT!

Took Bradford to a league cup final too. I wouldn’t want him but I do think people are harsh on Parkinson’s ability, he isn’t a bad manager at all Agreed. Parky is not the answer, but nor was Gomez, ever. If the question was, who can keep us up when we look dead in the water? Then Gomes was the ans...
