Re: Piazon and Ola John

How are we rating Piazon and ola John vs Semedo and Esteves?

I think Semedo has the potential to be a Sidwell type player. I think Esteves is not ready for this level of football.

Piazon and Ola John

Im a new father, and i've inevitably started listening to children's songs. Music man came on just now and a big grin came across my face when i thought back to the Piazon Ola John song. In particular how it was sung at Fulham away, until we started losing and the Steve Clarke Blackman run went down...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Coventry City (a) sponsored by Jimmy Hill

leon Very unimpressed with this.

Olise jogged across to cover that. Not good enough. He’s had a very poor game.

Aluko has been dreadful second half as well.

Agreed. His set pieces have been bang average too

Re: BTFT - Blackburn

Zip Will the pandemic derail our season? A bit concerned that if things get much worse we may see the season suspended. Then what?

I thought that. Similar to when we came second and the PL downsized.

The app works a lot better than using web browser. But does mean you have to watch on tablet not laptop.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (a) sponsored by Paul McShane

I still think that defeatist attitude contributed to relegation next year. We would have been forced to recruit better players for the European campaign and it would have kept the feelgood vibe at the club. Near the start of the following season, we lost 3-0 at home to a West Ham side who had barel...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (h) sponsored by Keith Scott

That took some missing! I’m shit at football and even shitter at heading but surely any kind of solid contact and it’s a goal. He's tried to be too cute, think Mick called it. He's tried to glance it in the near post when he should have just gone for direct contact at goal. Because he was running a...

That Meite miss was incredible.

Its the easiest header you can have. Watching it all the way, no one on him, head it back from where it came whole goal to aim at. Painful.

Ejaria cross superb. Must be annoyed hasnt got an assist for it.

Re: Marc McNulty arrested for match fixing

i dont get the anger towards McNulty. he was offered a 4 year deal so he signed it. This is a comment I see frequently and just can't get on board with. It assumes that all contract offers are just thought up by the club and it's a simple case of the player saying yes or no. A contract is a negotia...

Re: Marc McNulty arrested for match fixing

Yeah strange there is such a huge gulf between an Irish pub league and the Premier League, yet Doyle and Long managed it  Because they were actually decent players. Hope that helps.  McNulty was playing at a higher level than Doyle and Long. You never know how they are gonna turn ...
