Re: How good/bad was Phil Parkinson?

Parky was an honest player who gave 110% every single game, great captain and ambassador for the club and for that he will always be a Reading legend .... and for his trademark run out across the pitch at the start of each match. There have been many more skilful Reading players over the years but f...

Re: Madejski comments on club ownership

Can we have another round of 'One John Madejski" at Saturdays game against Blackburn to show our appreciation for the Chairman. Surely he has done more than anyone for Reading FC over the years. We can all criticise the guy for minor points but where he has taken this club during his tenure has...

Re: Back from the Game - Leeds

Just out in Leeds with my son after the game as staying up North for the night before traveling back to Reading tomorrow. In Nandos having dinner when Jobi and Ledge stroll in and had a really pleasant chat with them, they had Kaspars with them as well. All 3 of them were fantastic with my son and h...

Re: Jay Tabb

if he carry's on like this he will start to get compared to our all time great vertically challenged player. Great touch, uses the ball well, never gave less than 110%, challanged for every lost cause including going for headers against players over a foot taller, and helped the rest of the team pla...

Re: 6000th Topic

If anyone has any news on Adie Williams and his "alleged" assault would be interested to hear from them. Adie was one of the few players whose services it would have been great to retain from the start to the end of his career as he had a great presence on the field every game. Mind you if...

Re: 6000th Topic

Adie will always be a Reading Legend and great shame when he went the first time and also when we did not extend his contract second time round when I believe we were a) top or if not second and b) he was our captain. Can't imagine he was after a fortune but then we have a history of letting some of...

Re: Coppell aims for new signings

Rob Hulse - wanted him when he moved from Sheffield to Derby for £1.5 million. Always a handful when we played against him and good target man, gets his share of goals and works hard. Great addition at this level and could still cut it in the prem. We dont have a forward like this now Kits has gone....

Re: 6000th Topic

Richie Bowman - providing we had a tall keeper any team would struggle to beat a team with 10 Richie Bowmans in as he gave 110% every game and was good in midfield, going forward and defending. Always thought the chant going across the Southbank of "One Richie Bowman" was one of the loudes...
