Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

I think it's fair that Bearwood falling through has thrown off Pang's funding plans. Presumably the plan now is exclusivity this week and loans provided by the buyer. I believe HMRC is due this week, but that will be lower than the wage bill. Perhaps ticket sales and efforts from the commercial tea...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

blythspartan SJM says the sale is very close and buyers with deep pockets.

Yep on BBC Berks this morning. Reassuring, and if someone rational was selling I'd say we were probably there.

Re: What day will the news break?

Earnshaw broke the story rather than some random ITK which adds credibility something's happening re exclusivity.

Re: Rival Watch

No one below us in in any kind of form, in the last 5 games each for the bottom 6 only Fleetwood and Carlisle have won a game (one each). Cheltenham could get out with games in hand I guess but with the international break now followed by Easter means they have a very congested end to the season.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cambridge United (h)

Really enjoyed that, very impressed with the atmosphere. We look very dangerous and effective going forward. Cambridge definitely should have scored right after half time, three great chances. Apart from that they were made to look poor. Yep, and second and third goals were exactly when we needed t...

Winston Biscuit Incident on the M4 at J11 up on the A33. Traffic backed up on the motorway both directions

M4 closed between J10 West and J12 East - A33 gridlock too, going to be delayed I'd imagine.

ROYALJOE If protesting outside Wycombe training ground or Bearwood park means the deal could change or be off then it's worth it! :?:

Plenty of Wycombe fans joining tonight and supported by local press there.

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

It's sort of obvious though. A club comes with loads of outgoings, stadium rent, staff costs, players wages. A training ground facility doesnt come with those things. Much easier to sell because a lot less due diligence needed. Crikey it takes 3 months to sell a house, how could this be done quickl...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Jamie Hodder reporting on Twitter that exclusivity for a full sale was very close and now off the table, and the cut price deal has been agreed on basis money goes to Dai, not the club.

He's usually been proved to be accurate but not sure how the money going to Dai works, is that legally possible?

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

I see the Wycombe owner has liked a tweet in response to a planned protest at Wycombe by Reading fan's saying "How about you find out the facts first before arranging a protest outside another teams ground". I also posted something similar about waiting for the facts which was lik...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Twitter now going with the "fact" this deal has been done for a couple of weeks but agreed it wouldn't be announced until after the game at the weekend. Given the possibility of sale was only announced on Sunday and we find out it has been sold yesterday, that all makes perfect sense. Not...

WestYorksRoyal Would be classic if we got deducted points for failing to pay rent to Dai.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a)

Think this is definitely more of a Craig screening than Savage harrying game. Doubt Elliott is going to offer Mola any extra protection. Selles really needs to work out how to get the best out of Ehibhatiomhan, because he looks one of our most skillful threatening players. But it's just not happeni...

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

Unless there is a Premier League team in dire need of a state of the art training facility in the Thames Valley in the next month and with very high-powered property solicitors, Bearwood will not be sold quickly. Certainly not quickly enough to release funds for this season. It takes longer than th...
