Re: Madejski comments on club ownership

The rumour I heard was that Zingarevich has done one with the parachute payment that he got a forward loan on,hence the club has no money currently.

Re: Danny Guthrie - Refusing To Travel

Unbelievable, a player who earns 1.8 million per year doesnt want to travel!!!! Rumours say Pearce wont accept 25 K per week and wants 40k per week! Everytime we go up, the big time Charlies swing into action If this is the Premier then get me out of here PS and by the way your all doing a good job ...

Re: Reading fc's hardest player of all time

By a country mile has to be Hurlock, genuinely felt sorry for the opposition when Terry was wound up.Mick Tait was also hard as nails...remember him slide tackling a player in a 50/50 and as he slid past chinned the guy...out cold.....ref couldnt work out how it happened.

As one of the 78,000 who saw him play it has to be Robin Friday.
Not really a contest,he made opposition players look stupid, great entertainer!
Could have played at any level he chose

Re: Graeme Murty to rejoin as a coach

Good luck to Murts, however I am not happy that Mr Reading is working at Southampton!.Look forward to him adding to our success again in the future in whatever capacity. In a perfect world we would employ all our ex favourites!

Which ones would you employ?

Re: Back from the game Ipswich

For all the Platform measurers out there, apparently the First half of Saturdays game was less exciting than this set of facts The combined length of platforms 1 and 2 at Gloucester is 494m. Combined length of platforms 1 and 4 at Cambridge is 467m. Longest single platform seems to be Darlington plat...

Re: Reading FC and the transfer window

I actually think that Andrew has made some good points and from our promotion years a settled team in pre season is one that does better than one with many late additions. I would also argue that "well managed" should mean having a plan to buy and sell earlier and well. The points we drop e...

Re: Should Mills be Captain? - POLL

As fans we do not see a Captains influence on a club on a day to day basis. However alienating the fans is not part of his remit. He needs to look back at the likes of Murty on how to carry out his job. His temperament is questionnable as are his own opinion of his abilities

Signing a loanee is potentially good news, however this season will not be be about promotion no matter how you wear the RTGs The annoying thing about it is ....will JM fund a promotion thrust? I personally cannot see this ,however I am enjoying our season as Maccy D learns his trade as an honest pro...
