Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (a)

ILoveMoonPig Looks like a single goal between us and the relegation zone. It's getting tense! I still believe we're turning the corner though. That's a decent point.

Win our easy home game in hand and we’re virtually half way up the division! !

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (a)

Fair result Crap boring game with 2 poor sides which is pretty much the case with most games this year O Connor did pretty well on the plus side. All a bit average otherwise. We’re not charging up the table any time soon agree - O'Connor blowing hard at the end, didn't look the quickest for their g...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (a)

ouch. They are one of the weaker clubs in the division in terms of resources, on a poor run of form and without their leading scorer. Yet they've completely outplayed what looks like our first team for half an hour. Lane, Ritchie just not in the game at all. As a unit we have less heart than we did ...

I’ll take Eastbourne or Whitstable away please.

If it’s Barnsley or Bolton away, just put the ball back and say we’ve done that one already.

Re: Fan demographics and commercial information

Looks pretty sloppy to me. Where are the six non UK football clubs older than Reading? I doubt very much we are the fourth oldest club in UK. Notts C, Forest, Wednesday, Sheffield FC, Maidenhead, Marlow, Kilmarnock for starters all earlier than us. The age breaks add up to only 86%. No way is the UK...

Very good - by most fans I don't mean most Nobbers!

I had Michael Dobson and Stephen Kelly in mind.

Re: Players at Reading who you had completely forgotten about

A while back I had a go at recent-ish players with common surnames who I reckon most fans would find hard to place. Here's some:

A Smith
N Smith
B Smith
K Jones
S Brown
A Wright
B Roberts
J Young
M Dobson
J Kelly
S Kelly
J Taylor
R Scott

... against the red griffin things ...

A griffin is half eagle, half lion. They've got TWO WYVERNS - winged dragons. Against which we're putting out royals. Go, Princess Eugenie!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Lincoln City (a)

On the bright side we were in it for 3/4 of the game and with the rub of the green could have got a draw. Elliott looked very good for half a hour. But none of the new men made a good first impression for me. Early days, but we definitely need a focal point in attack. A new Andy Carroll!?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Lincoln City (a)

Absolutely nonexistent as an attacking force for the first half hour.

Then got into it, not really due to our forwards. I’d replace all three at HT if I could! Certainly want to see subs before it’s 0-2.

We’re still in it though. Go !

JedMaxwell Taylor Swift was born in West Reading, PA.

Are we sensing a Sheeran / Elton / Robbie Wiiliams opportunity here? Does West Reading PA have a Battle Hospital?

Re: Where we going next season then?

RG30 4 direct train routes from Reading I counted (Exeter, Plymouth, Cardiff, Stockport).

London?

Get a bus to Leyton from Padders?!
More realistically, tube from Waterloo to Wimbledon.
