Re: Bolton fall out

Although I have yet to really warm to him as a person, I did find Richardson's interview after the game addressed most of the points we're all making pretty well. Impressively realistic about where we are. We all desperately want an instant turn around, promotion, liquid football etc. It is obvious...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (h)

What the ******* hell do you call that shambolic cr@p of a half Leam? Teams like Bolton, who've been there or thereabouts for several years now would always be the litmus test of where we are as a team in this league. Whilst I'm not trying to be a LR apologist, the team needs a player up top to pro...

Sutekh Is there a reason Reading are doing everything to try and give them a goal?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (h)

WestYorksRoyal What I love about the goal is the confidence. This is a striker in the form of his life, he just takes it early with power and conviction. Bang. No chance for the keeper due to the power. This form won't last forever, but for now just enjoy watching a Reading striker playing at his peak

Amen.

Today I'm getting kind of echoes of the play off season under Stam.
I can remember walking away after the games back then thinking "how did we win that?"

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wimbledon (a)

I seriously hate this back line. It really is shit. POC has been a disappointing signing. Him and Lane were probably the two most exciting of the summer and both have seriously underwhelmed. Fully agree Suts does make a good point, though. We can't handle the high press very well. This is what is n...

Re: How best to approach the rest of the season

  Some of the stuff on here   LR has scarcely got his feet under the table here. He's weighed up the contracted pro's he has inherited, signed specific players where he believes is necessary, and some of those those players are still bedding in. Having what is perceived by our L1...

WestYorksRoyal O'Connor doesn't look like a bad L1 defender, but he also looks miles off the supposed best CB in the league we thought we were signing.

Yep.

And O Connor SCORES

Sutekh DK’S on the wrong wing, Doyle just flatters to deceive and needs to step up more.

Agreed. That's been the story of Doyle's time here. He's out on loan from BHA for a reason.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (h)

I feel like I watch a different game to people sometimes. yup and bigger picture stuff - we're a squad going through a second restructuring in about nine months, we're clearly not the finished product yet are rarely so well beaten we're out of a game and we are on recent form (before tonight, 11 fr...

That finish will do Keane good. He's struggled this half. Roberts involved with a great cross.

Re: Expecting two to be announced today/very soon

Been reading the discussion on here about squad assembly. My two penn'orth. Remember, it's not all about Couhig & Trosclair, they're just the public face of a clutch of investors. Perhaps there's an agreed budget to achieve the first stage goal only (getting out of L1), which will be revisited b...
