Re: Any player you recall who virtually beat us on their own.

Dick Habbin's hairdo Gianfranco Zola in pre-season friendly at EP .... absolute joy to watch.

Yes. We pegged them back to 1-1 then they (Zola) just switched it up a gear until they restored the lead. Genius.

SCIAG What about Alexis Sanchez in the FA Cup semi final at Wembley?

What about him? In a game we drew? Your posts haven't got any better have they.

Re: The most charismatic/moronic fan we have or have ever had

We currently have some of the worst fans in English football, some of them are a complete disgrace at away games. Loud, rude and deeply, deeply unfunny. everything is pretty much ok as long as it is based in good humour but we just seem to have a load of kids aged 16-25 who get drunk and drugged an...

Re: Season Ticket Refund?

Old Man Andrews Anyone asking for a refund should be immediately banned by the club. None of this is their fault and they owe you nothing.

Came into this thread specifically to say this. Thankfully it's already been said, although a pity it's taken till page 2.

Re: Berks and Bucks senior cup 2019/20

Looks as if the farcical situation of the clash of shirts between Reading and the referee could be blamed on Reading. No teams in Berks and Bucks cup matches are allowed to wear black or any other very dark colour. Reading could be fined for the match starting late whilst they resolved the issue( R...

Right on the stroke of half time. Carnage in the concourse minutes after. Right then I knew we were at Wembley.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h) sponsored by John Halls

Lets try talking about the game...... I think Stoke need to come here and not lose which could be an issue for us if they don't come at us a bit. I think we are at our best when teams attack us and we hit on the counter. I'm unfortunately pessimistic about this one, but only as a realist. A realist...

If it does I feel it will be a blessing in disguise for England. Should Kane and Rashford not be fit enough for the tournament, which four strikers travel? Zip Holmes is on a season long loan in Belgium. I was less impressed by him. Felt he was a bit too slow and struggled to contain ALF on the night he made his debut.

Incredibly harsh assessment.

https://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/2020/march/from-club-to-club-1871--an-open-letter/ Pretty much spot on IMO. However, some fans will occasionally berate a misplaced pass or wayward shot from one of their team's players out of sheer spur of the moment frustration. That's different from giving indivi...

Re: BFTG Sheff U FB

The comment about the modern player not being two footed is very true. When I first started watching football, all the top footballers use to comment about working on their weaker foot.I seem to recall that our 2005 side only had one player who was genuinely two footed, and that was Doyle.Even at the ...
