Re: Tim Dellor's massive news

Let’s face it, if it was anything worthwhile and Reading related he’d have jizzed his pants all over Peach earlier. Probably just something rowing related.

Re: Rival Watch

Great set of results tonight couldn’t have asked for better. That boro result was most unexpected pretty much nailed on for the playoffs at least now. If we can get through this next month or so and still be in the playoffs we’ll have done incredibly. We still have 21 to play though. We could chall...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bournemouth (h)

Very surprised by that line up. Obvs don’t want to risk being embarrassed by the mighty Crawley on the tele.

Trying to regain some confidence and form before they play us? I hope this backfires...

Re: Best player you've ever seen play against us

2010 game v Villa in the FA Cup. 2-0 up at HT but Ashley Young and John Carew absolutely tore us to pieces in the second half.

They were a really decent side under Martin O’Neill.

Pauno reiterates we are still trying to get 2 incomings over the line before next weeks deadline.

Any ideas who?

Re: The Next 6 Games

SCIAG Has there ever been a 6 game spell that wasn’t important?

They’re all important. But you need to get results against teams who are up there with us. 5 of the next 6 are against teams in the Top 10.

The Next 6 Games

Some huge games against teams around us coming up in the next few weeks. Moore, Yiadom, Araruna, Meite and Puscas all set to return - but on paper this looks set to be our toughest period of the season. Bournemouth (H) Stoke (A) Brentford (H) Millwall (H) Bristol City (A) Middlesbrough (H) 9 points ...

Re: Rival Watch

Saw exactly how good a team in mid table are today in Preston If a team like that forces their way into the top 6 I’ll be amazed Yet the result shows you need to respect the teams below us... Rafael with some great saves today. Since we lost at Brentford we have won 3, drawn 2 and kept 3 clean shee...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (a)

Frustrating game which highlighted our limitations. That last chance when Ovie was through would have been buried had that been an actual winger like Barrow. We struggle when we come up against typical battling championship CM’s. We are best playing along the deck but couldn’t carve out many clear c...

Re: Rival Watch

Agree, the gap is only 9 points down to 13th. The way people are talking you'd think there was a 10 point gap to 8th. But none of those teams below Boro are much good or have shown any real signs of consistent form. Barnsley worried me but have stalled 9 points is a big gap to make up in 20 games. ...

Re: Rival Watch

Personally think the playoffs are wide open still, right down to mid table. It’s still the midway point :|

We’ve been in this division long enough to know that if you pick up a bit of form in the Championship you can suddenly catapult up the league.

Re: Rival Watch

Stoke are pressing Watford here.

There’s a disgusting amount of money on the pitch yet the game is bereft of skill and quality. I know it only takes one chance to change that - but watching this so far it does make you realise how lucky we are :D

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (a)

Wouldn’t mind Semedo or Esteves replacing Olise for this. Pauno will have done his homework. If we get an early couple of goals then we could drop Esteves deeper as a 5 man defence.

He’ll probs go with Aluko anyway, which is the most likely option
