Re: If you didn't support Reading, who would you have supported and why?

I’ve lived within spitt8ng distance of Watford and Southampton (The Dell) and watched them both a fair bit. Would probably have settled on one of them but it would certainly have been a ‘local’ club. I went to the Reading game at the Dell.I was living in Eastleigh at the time,so was in the Southamp...

Re: If you didn't support Reading, who would you have supported and why?

West Brom, Brentford or Millwall. That’s assuming the stadiums would be open and you could go to matches. Why those 3? West Brom are a proper club, fans alright, not impossible regular journey from Berks. Brentford seems a decent nearby club, reasonable fans, good story, good football, near...

Best Law and Charlton for me.But they are very crappy now,and a badly run club.At least we managed to have a clear out.The likes of Calamity Jones,Mata,Rojo and co;plus the Glazers dividends mean they cannot bring anyone in.

Anybody had a dislocated shoulder ? Do they just snap it back in;leave it for a week and your as good as new ?Yet some people need surgery.Did Moore ever get surgery done ?I have only ever dislocated a finger(volleyball, yeah I know),so I have no idea.A moment of extreme pain while they put it back,t...

I don't get this either. I can't believe he just didn't sign it. What is he doing now? Swansea and Brentford were apparently interested, and then... nothing. Gutted for him. He should sign for Swindon or Oxford. Local, likely to get into the team regularly, and only a division below us. Money I sus...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (a) sponsored by Chris Casper

TBF I have only seen Holmes play once;from memory the occasion was a total left field selection on debut by Stam. His plus points were yes he is good in the air and despite being a fairly young lad on debut he stood his ground;however he was caught out of position (as you would expect) on a couple of...

The coat of arms was though. Dense. Scraping the barrel a bit here aren’t you to justify your issues ? Here we are thicko. https://www.heraldry-wiki.com/heraldrywiki/index.php?title=Barnsley "The arms were officially granted on 19 October 1869" That course really didn’t do much good did i...

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

Decent approach from the club once again and one that is likely to suit most supporters. My Fake Hoops supporting neighbour was moaning about their approach but, having looked on their site, it really doesn't seem that bad. Yes, they want the full price up front but are providing free live streamin...

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

Just got the vouchers for the unused season tickets from last year. Not sure if they're giving away too much but each voucher for each game is £26, so £130 in total. Season ticket only cost £299. Has everyone else got the same vouchers. Yeah I received four emails on this. The email explains that we...

Old Man Andrews Since 1869. You'd know this if you just used Google.

You must be using a different Google to the rest of us;seeing as the Club wasn’t around then.

Sutekh- are you sure Mr Breakspear hasn`t refereed Reading before ? My info suggests 4 matches previously. You’re right. My spelling was badly off when I looked him up, mind you it’s not helped by the fact he’s been on the league list for 8 years and he’s only reffed a few games in the Championship...

Can anyone help me understand if Meite is available for this? My understanding is a straight red is a 3 game ban. Does this apply across all domestic competitions? Or just league games? I'd like to see him play, along with the likes of Puscas and McIntyre. But would like to see a strong team, partl...

Essentially that was Bowen s team yesterday;but fair play to Paunović he did manage to get them revved up;which MB rarely managed to achieve. We now seem to be strong in most areas bar LB and cover for Jao.Early days but we might actually do something this season.A lot of pundits have us down as rele...

I'd be pretty confident of a 4-2-3-1 but who knows how that'll actually look Rafael Yiadom Morrison Moore Richards Laurent Rino Olise Swift Ejaria Joao Although I think it'd be better to have Swift as part of the double pivot - and I guess we could have someone like Baldock play behind Joao Yeah I ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a) sponsored by things to come

Our line up should be interesting. If we accept three at the back as risky and unlikely. The back four plus Rafa, pick themselves. An English coach would want power in midfield and go with Rino and Laurent;however our new manager might however want more creativity..On reputation unless his xfer his imm...
